Now I am having another issue. I was trying to talk to players on the server, Yet I couldn't see their responses in the chat log on DaRT. I have tried using an older version and the current version.

I extracted the newer version into it's own separate folder and copied over my older database players file. I use DaRT on both my laptop and desktop. I am on my laptop looking at my database, so it's smaller than the one on my desktop as I don't use it as much. I didn't know if the database would/should be the same as it is on my desktop.

Alright. Thanks! Yea, i checked the db folder and saw a players data base file. It was 8kb.

Does the player database only update when you have DaRT running? I was gone over the weekend and some of the regular players said that their was a hacker in the server. I looked in the database to see all the players who were on around the time they said it happened. I didn't see anyone I haven't seen in the server before. I am using v0.8.1. I also have some friends who do not show up in the database at all (I only noticed this when i went to grab on of their GUIDs for them). I also downloaded v 0.9 and the player database is empty.

Is there any way to see where heli crashes spawn? I havent been able to find one at all since the new update. EDIT: Nvm. I think i fixed it.

Info: We just purchased our first server! We would love it if we could get some input as well. We encourage friendly behavior but we do not force it. We limited the number of Helicopters because we felt they take away from the immersion of the game. We have added more bicycles, ATVs, etc. We also have active admins and if a hacker is found he/she will be banned and any damage will be undone. We will not abuse the control panel by giving us good loot or seeing where players are. We feel that it defeats the purpose and takes the fun out of the game. Alright. Let me know if it worked. I have yet to try it. I honestly haven't noticed the issue since 1.7.2.5. Just thought I would post it for those who do.

Same thing here. if you press "i" in game it will show you the server info. Just and FYI in case you did not know. :)

yea, i know. My comment was in reply to someone and it appeared it didn't quote them. he was saying he didn't want to test crappy patches or something like that.

Im pretty sure thats what alpha testing is all about. If you can't deal with stuff being broken after updates, then don't play. It's that simple.

Same issue here. Its not a big deal as I have all my stuff. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Please continue whining and see how much we/they care. There is a thing called paitence. I would rather Rocket take his time with this patch to add new things and fixes and relase it with very little bugs, than release multiple broken patches just so the kiddies will be happy. Grow up. I have the same issue and the game is still just as enjoyable/playable. People seem to forget that this game is in ALPHA. Shit is gonna happen, so deal with it.

I tried this but i have to do this every time i join a server. Is it the same for you?
