I've managed to run up a steep hill and ditched 3 zeds that were chasing me, but its not a very repeatable thing to do. Once the next patch is out we can really ditch them.

Hitlers Time Travel Exemption Act prevents such occurances, unfortunately. Any change in the 1930-1945 timeline results in the Nazis winning or /worse/.

I was playing on one server until I installed the beta patch, now nights are well...nights and now I have to play wherever its day. -

They're working on it. Like its been said over and over, its hard to stop because of the way ARMA 2 works; its all client side, making hacks much easier then in a normal game. Hopefully Rocket and the crew will find some way of blocking the hacks more effectively or that Arma 3 wont be so easy to hack (which honestly doesnt help us in the meantime but at least its something to look forword to if it happens). -
Doubt tanks or afvs will ever be in day z (outside of broken wreaks). Looks like a hacker to me

YES. But only if you spawn w/next to nothing (bandage, water, thats it). Will stop any benifets for killing respawns -

I like the idea, how about adding a visual cue, like dirtier/grungier looking skins, not overt but noticeable. -

Ha yeah watched this video last night. Kept expecting them to dc, run up to your sniper spot on another server, reconnect then blast you in the back. Oh and DDG, thanks, it's because of your survive series that I got interested in Day Z, and the lessons I learned while watching saved me from a few bad deaths.

Agreed with all points also I suggest: 1: Bikes with reduced noise (there was a topic about this but got erased) 2: vehicles and tents out of map auto destruct after a set amount of time (say 6-8 hours) as being out of map is retarded. 3: Uparmoring vehicles (mad max style) using scrap metal, with the extra weight taking up storage space and or increasing fuel consumption (not applicable on bikes, motercycles, helis and boats).
