I just tried the arma2 OA "chernarus map on "team deathmatch" against AI and I was getting 30 FPS because the lower I put the graphics settings the lower the GPU usage was.
Hello i'm zezors and I have been having some lag and low GPU usage issues. I believe that I may have found a way to fix my low FPS however I would like some confirmation from other people before I choose to do this. My problem is as follows: I have a average FPS when looking at the floor and looking into the sea however when i start to move and look inland then I get some bad lag issues (around 15-20 FPS). I also have around 30% GPU usage in DAYZ but a 99% GPU usage in the benchmark. It also doesn't matter if I am on low or max settings I still get the same FPS. My point is that I believe the problem could be caused by a bad HDD not being able to load the map fast enough as i turn, causing the low FPS. full system specs: OS - windows 7 home premium MOBO - asrock N68-VS3 FX GPU - GTX 570 (780mhz) CPU - AMD FX6100 ( stock clock) HDD - HD502HI (5400RPM) (16mb cache) Confirmation of this would be a big help. (also an excuse to get a new WD black) Thanks, zezors
