    The best way of not being killed :) If you want military loot, I always go Stary Sobar (is that how its spelt?) to the military tents on the north edge. Hardly see anyone there, any snipers are likley to be on the hill to the north either in the wood or hiding behind the cars up there.

    Just to add to what people have said above, make sure you approach from a wooded area, don't run across the airfield to get to the barracks.
