How about this setup? I can run DayZ in a virtual box and it works on the lowest settings but still choppy. I have no issue bootcamping win7 if I know it will be playable. What do you guys think? Mac Mini (late 2011) 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 with 3MB on-chip shared L3 cache 4GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory 500GB (5400-rpm) hard drive2 AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR5 memory

Need help playing DayZ Mod on mac!!!

What model Mac do you have? I have a high end Mac Mini (late 2011). I have managed to run DayZ in a virtual machine but performance is very poor. Wondering how it will run under bootcamp. I got no reply from the "will it run forum" :/

    playing on mac [i'm mac]

Before I go spending money on a copy of Win7, is anyone successfully running DayZ on the high end Mac Mini (2011)? I understand the low end model may struggle with its shared graphics, however the model I am using has 256MB descreet graphics. I have tried running Parallels and get 5-15 FPS and is unstable. I don't mind spending the money and Bootcamping if need be (really keen to play this game), but want to know it will be playable before i do so. Specs below: 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2520M 3MB L3 cache 500GB 5400rpm 2.5in SATA HDD 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 RAM AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics with 256MB GDDR5 RAM Thanks in advance to any Mac gamers out there who can help.

    White Screen?

I have this issue also. Running a mac with winxp in parallels. Screen slowly goes white until unplayable. As with the OP changing resolution only works briefly before turning white again.
