I just installed Dayz, as you can probably tell, so bare with me here. Everything seemed to work fine, that is, until I tried to play the game.. It took me awhile before I could even get into a server, and once I could, I couldn't see anything. Now, I could see my health, food bar, and hud elements. I could run, aim, and do whatever. I just cant see anything. It's like everything is black. I don't really know how to describe it. It's as if none of the objects have rendered. As if the "bad server version" errors and the fact that half the time I get stuck trying to join servers, this whole situation is really frustrated. The only time I was able to see anything was when I joined a server and was playing as a raven. I was controlling a bird.. Maybe that's something I don't understand, but that's what happened. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks, and have a nice day.

Yes, I have the steam version of the game. I have not tried playing the Arma titles, but I did launch each one. My Arma 2's are up to date, at least for steam. My specs are as follows: 8GB Ram Intel Core i7 Q840 @1.87GHz 64 bit Operating System Windows 7 Ultimate Nvidia GeForce GTX 460m
