are you launching dayz via DayZcommander?? if so, go to settings and try to enable or disable the "replace original Arma2OA files with Beta so Steam works" button :)

Hello :) i've been playing dayz for a while now and i get these fps drops all the time. my pc is not the best but it can run many games pretty smooth. When i play I have maby 26-35 FPS and it is running smoothly... but all the sudden my fps drops to 6-17 FPS... and after 30 seconds, its back to normal... the strange thing is that the game is running smoothly even in towns. then the FPS Drop comes, and after 30 sec it's llike nothing happend and the game is running nice again. (it happens quite often though) Can anyone please post some good settings or tips that i can try out for my pc? :) i have Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM CPU @ 2,30GHz 2.30 GHz and 6 GB RAM with Windows 64-bit Ultimate just ask if you want to know anything more:)
