I'm extremely new to DayZ. Haven't even gotten to play yet. Reason being, I can't figure out how. I'm positive that this is a great mod for Arma. If I could get it to work. I go to create a new server/game (not paid...don't even know what that stuff is about), and all I want to do is create a regular game. Zombie survival. Other people you have to watch out for as well. Nothing special. How do I do that? I don't want to have to pay for the server or anything like that. I paid for the game, I should be able to play the free mod for free. Coming from a very confused and frustrated noobie. Thanks all! Serious replies would be appreciated.

That's the problem. I've tried joining other servers. A) I never know what server to join, and B) The ones I've tried that seem to work the most say something about waiting until my player is setup.
