I see lots of hate on the new patch and because no one ever says why they hate it they all look like they are overacting. First of all what does it say when you download dayz? Download ALPHA!! You did not pay for this game and they are doing open testing for the standalone with this mod,it has always been like that. Just try hold off playing the game and wait for them to fix it. And if you think this update is bad,over at warz all of there patches break the game by ruining fps and loot spawns. So if you have a point about why the patch is so bad let me know,if not then just wait it out.

This new patch sucks. They should fix these bugs fast or this is going to be as buggy as warz. But that game you spend money on so in dayz it is a little ok but they still have to get on fixing the fps drops some people get. The worse loot and the super powered zombies are all arguable good or bad. But worse fps is hands down bad.

I was talking about stutter,that seems to be what this patch caused not bad fps just random lag spikes. Well if the game becoming balls to the walls hard again is no big deal then the lag spikes are the only thing to worry about. Not all players are getting lag spikes but a lot are

This patch making the game more hard maybe not that bad if people are having Demolition Derbys and dirt bike races.

this patch is known to have lag.is to hard,makes loot suck,and kills a child when ever anyone updates to 1.7.7 I think The 1.7.7 curse can be cured by replacing your computers Liquid cooling with virgins blood.

I hope you are right. I have been so set on getting this game I never thought about the possibility of it being bad,and if a patch made it not as fun that would make me unhappy. But I should not be worried I know this is the way to play.the game I am sure it will be fine. Also when the standalone comes out I am sure that they will have balanced game. -

Some people liked the game before after this patch I dont even want to get this game anymore. It seems to hard now as if it was not hard before. The game was fine why could they not wait for the standalone to add all this stuff. I know this game is not pvp but what is the point of looting if you dont find lots of cool stuff. also are other maps/mods also updated with bad loot and the power full zombies,or is it just the main map. Thanks -

I think that to many people walk past zombie no problem they wanted to change that. But if they attack from far away then that is bad. -
I just want to know If you play dayz with the steam version if the patch made it so that the steam version does not work. Or did the steam version patch and it works fine. No "use dayz commander' comments just answer the question if you can. Thanks!

ok cool i will try this week end because I will be able to play dayz before I get my new laptop but It will have to be with the steam version so I am glad it seems to work. I will post my results after I hopefully try it soon -
ok goo Ok good I am glad the fps was bad enough before I am glad it did not get worse but lag spikes suck so I hope they fix that

Try changing your setting and look stuff up. also standalone will run better so you could just wait. -

He said it will be correctedAnd the dayz team is good they will fix any of the other bugs that I don,t even know what they are because no one said what they dont like about the patch. All right can orlok eat this post and then everyone shut up about it untill it is fixed?

How will raging about it help? Some dev should make a post say that they are working on it to calm everybody down and then we just have to wait.
