In 1.7.7 you need antibiotics if a zombie so much as glitches past you,so I want to know if anyone knows if this is going to be just as crazy in standalone or if it is going to be harder to get sick? Thanks this is a actual question so please answer it in a nice way.

This poor man is lost in the world of steam and simple instructions. let me tell you this is what you do. 1.download arma2 combind opartions, aka arma2/arma2 opration arrowhead (arma 2 free or the demo of arrowhead will not work.) 2.then download dayz from steam. 3.download the beta patch that should be in your steam library 4.launch the dayz mod and click the circle next to play with beta patch. 5.select a server and it should work,if not select a different server.

This was one of things added in 1.7.7 that does not kill you,like applekaxc said it is like a chopper crash site it has loot and is just randomly all over the world. I think it is random.

This is a good post because lots of people get there cd key stolen for not playing for a while,so you can give this guy a break I mean holy shit so many people are being stupid hackers can find this out in other places,but If you lost your cd key for just not playing then this would be a life saver,not evreyone can just ask there parents to buy arma2 twice to play dayz so this is useful.

Wow guys! This guy is trying to help all the players who where on servers when some hacker made it look like a legit player was hacking and getting them banned. people get banned because of other hackers,with this post I am not worried that some hacker will hack the server and get me banned. I under stand your worries about the hackers but at least this can help the legit players! It gave me peace of mind!

Yes he did say he was going to release it in june I think,but we should give him time it is a hard game to make because of all the bugs.

I loaded the steam version of dayz and it asked me to load just the mod or the bata patch,I did not load with the beta patch and then all the servers had a X next to them and would not load,or have a ! next to them that will start loading but not work. so am I suppose to load the beta patch? Thanks!

I will buy this on my laptop and desktop,I love arma2 but I find the dayz mod to buggy so I cant wait for dayz to go standalone.

Yes dumb cod players (not all cod players are dumb) would all ways kill me in warz (I know Its a sin) because they want to be pro and don't and dont "have time" to type with there key board,so I think a way to get the pvp players out of the game would be cool.

Ok first go on other maps if you want something brand new. but if you want only chernarus, then start new and try to do other stuff,like don.t fall into the normal way of things go north without a gun or better yet try to go pro and hold up people! But no one is that pro! and there is private servers that change some things in chernarus. Lots of stuff to do see how long you can live with out going back to camp and just living in a pvp zone. I thought I was pro after watching youtube and stuff,my first life got shot in the head with a sniper,this game all ways will have new things,you just have to find them.

I read somewhere that play with 6 did not have 1.7 working with it but I wanted to play dayz on my desktop before I get a new laptop so I use the stem version and I launch it up and ether the servers all have red X next to them or have yellow ! next to them. If they have the X I could not even try to connect. But remember what I said about the server that had a ! well I load it up and all I got was 3 error message thought trying to connect to it one at the start one during it trying to load up and then one crashing. And to add insult to iinjury the only server was a damn Bambi world! ;) Its not that I care much but I just wanted to share this and ask if everyone who has this mod though steam gets this because I thought It would be a good replacement for play with 6. Also just so you don,t have to, I know I should get dayz commander no need to tell me.
