Ok so might make this a normal thing but for now i am doing it on these guns. What one is better? I am talking about these guns because I had a choice between picking one and i got the m14,but dont know what one is better. I hate the dmr but love the m14, and it has great power not matter what, but the la5A2 is full auto and has a good cqc sight. Also it is automatic and its ammo is all over,but the dmr mag is a rare thing and is only found with m14 and dmrs while la5A2 ammo comes with any m4a1 gun. so what one is the best for fighting zeds and players at close range? Thanks!

ya and the m14 is all over the place atm,found it at like zub castle once. The fact that it is found out side of citys most of the time is why its like that. The city is no place for a m14 :)

So i logged into a takistan server,on this server there is one spawn point at a airport,this might sound bad but at first I was alone,but then I hanged around killing bandits and other people who where kos. Then my luck ran out and I died,i respawnd and noticed many people around me,one of them shot me in the head.(on this server you start with a g17) I respawnd a bit later and this time there was a guy across the runway from us shoot at all of the fresh spawns being a spawn camper. Well me and most of the server was being spawn camped into the dust then I got a idea. I spawn in with another guy he crouched down and shot at the camper as he did this I went into prone and played dead in the pile of bodies around spawn. My spawn buddy was shot and killed,I was alone. The spawn killer came up to the mass grave of all the people who spawnd in and was about to loot the bodies. I moved around found a opening in the bodies and shot the guy severle time in the chest and head,he died. Then a few minutes later he was banned before he could respawn. BOOM wasteland justise. If you have a story or two on how you beat bandits and beat the odds then post them below. (The thing about this is that the server was really just a airport death match so this is not a true dayz bandit story but still I think it is something cool.) If they did that at this stage it would become warz where all that you do is run,but then after 5 seconds a attack you cant see coming will come out of no where and kill you. Running attacks? no thanks we need to wait untill standalone,in order for this to work with out some awfull gameplay

OA is worth it for sure! If you like arma2 then OA is great,it is big and has lots of new guns and missions,also you can load arma2 all the dlc and oa it self all from OA so it also is a good hub for all your arma2 stuff,other then dayz. For dayz you get dayz commander,where you can download maps,and join servers fast and with out much work. http://www.dayzcommander.com/ Get it here once you have Operation arrow head. click on download dayz commander,none of the other pop up stuff. I was a fool to use play with 6 and steam first,but it made getting commander all the more rewarding. I think arma2 and operation arrow head are worth it for the games them selves. But the fact that they have the amazing dayz mod to,is just the icing on the cake. Arma3 might seem good but it has no story mode yet,arma2 is cheap and has the amazing dayz mod. Get Operation arrow head! IT is cheaper better and has dayz you will not regret it. If you can run arma2 you should get arma2 that is my motto!

I will go sit in a house make it my home and the start to sob,as I see all the players complain about no dmrs,the lack of a million cars and helis on the coast,and some try hards calling some one a "bambi (aka the worst word ever). Not saying SA wont be fun,but things have happend to the community, somethings it may never comeback from.

I would not call it "retarded,I mean it was lesser in things you can do,and in rpg elements, but its not that bad,and the list of people you cant kill is shorter then lets say elder scrolls 4.

Ya it did get silly in places like new reno when all the gangsters are doing is cracking jokes and making sex jokes if you are waring power armour. and the game was unblaced you can get power armour in less then a hour. Also the bozar was too op,I mean holy shit! And I mean honest who played tatics?(I did,it had to much of a combat focus so it was not that fun.

Ya i guess it never hits the high of the trip to the strip,but new veges is still my favourite fallout game,two is my second fav! I have played this game called underrail,its a fallout 1 and 2 style rpg and is only 10$ on steam you should check it out! Ps.The arena was called the thorn, and the reward for doing the quest there was sex and a shotgun. That is so fallout!

I LOVE dark souls cant wait for 2! but on the topic of fallout 3 and vegas exloration,I think the trip to the strip is one of the most amazing road trips in gaming,I think lts cool becasuse there is many ways to do it,I Just found path in black mountin that got me past the death claws and into the filelds outside vegas,it was awsome IMo. But ya dark sould is awsome! beat it,not as hard as people say,its fair Edit:ya in fallout 2 how you can find the cafe of broken dreams and find dogmeat is awsome!

I agree good old dayz is here you just have to hunt for it. i do agree though I usded to have to use tin cans for sneaking and stuff. Now standing still might get you noscoped,that being said it has changed a little but not alot,standalone will put my tin can throwing skills to good use
