No sorry the devs would never want to add something like that,things like air drops would be much better,but something like that would never be allowed. Its a funny idea but players would be the only bikes down the road,i mean If you want to once cars come out find your self a bike and drive down the road and be like this.

heli crashes are good for me,I dont know if they are in standalone but they are cool,they have lots of zeds and cool loot. Whats not to love?

So In dayz SA I went up to the town above blota and started shooting up zombies with my m4 I got maybe half a dozen before some ass hole snuck up behind me and killed me. (it was a first person only server). But I had some fun on the coast with some nice people and am living on a farm that has its own well and a house that has plenty of food near by. WIll live there as long as I can. but do you ever kill zombies when you have to much stuff? I all ways did it on the mod and this was my first time to do it on standalone.

So I was one of the people who grew up with dayz in the 5000 car time. Where base game servers where dead and the easy mode of dayz was all the rage. I never had as much fun finding things like a map as other people did. So when I walked into a school and found a m4? and I happend to have a mag from before? and it had tons of mods and stuff I could use with it? I love this game! anyone have any first time loot finds they want to share? (its the only full auto gun so if its a m16 or what ever sorry I got it wrong but u get the point) Wait hold on did I just make a post thats NOT a complain bug report or stupid sugestion? WHOA! Edit:I got a hand gun to!

If i got a lmg in the mod I would not risk loosing it to bandits I would run into town with it and kill the zombies untill my ammo was out. so much fun. :)

I play arma2 on the settings I started with and when I got onto dayz even though it was online and had loot and stuff I ran it at a steady 30. The mod I have to lower all settings to lowest to get a good fps. It will take a bit for better fps :( but at least I can play

I will just post this from a topic I posted on a while ago back in the mod days I had a nice little community we had some cows close by that we used for food and a pound for water. we all had a gun,water bottle and hunting knife , and our own tent.There was a big fire we used to cook food,it was paradise. Then it all changed the day those bastards attacked. most of us where online we where sitting around the camp fire when we heard a shot,sounded like a dmr,we all got up and got our guns ready. our sniper on the ridge said that he could not see who shot,we got ready to take cover when a guy got taken down one shot. we could not tell if he was alive but we could not slow down so we left him.I had a m14 aim and these shots seemed like a sniper so we had to try to wait em out. as we where hiding in the tree line i think we lost another man but I was ok.still thats when we saw 3 or so guys coming from he tree line.any one who had a good range gun like a ar shot the guys with the shot gun began to run off to the sniper ridge,I was shooting at the 3 guys (1 had camo clothes the others where bandits)They had full auto guns and one guy had a lmg. The sniper was still up on the hill taking shots at us. I was kinda just cowering behind a tree and because I am not a good fighter I wanted to run but had a long range gun. i was shooting at these guys that where pretty much in the open but that sniper made us want to stay safe. The guy with the lmg was shooting the tree my best buddies was behind to shreds,he got shot in the arm and got knocked out and never woke up....... At this point the lmg guy ran out of bullets so I shot him dead. at this point there was 2 of them and 4 of us including me and the sniperso we thought we could take em,we where wrong one of the guys threw a grande at us,it blew up our tents but did not kill anyone.With the safe zone in ruins we where ready to just run we had a car up by the sniper we did not bring it into the camp because we wanted to be safe. There was one issue the only car left was a pick up and only had two seats. We made our way up the hill on a slant so we could keep running and the sniper took out one of my buddies now there is only 3 of us including the sniper up on the hill. We made it up there and the sniper had the car runnning he typed out saying that one of us will have to stay. the other guy (not the sniper) said that he will run off to the near by air field and that we can drive away. I got in the pasanger seat and the sniper jumped in the drivers seat and we where off. The other guy ended up dying on his way to the air field. I parted ways with the sniper and lived out the rest of my days in some small town in the north.

So in all my days playing arma 2 my name has been user,I am thinking of settling down in a server but I kinda want to make my name meat pie so if anyone from the forums see me they know its me,and what not. If I changed my name on my profile what would happen? Because i tried to change it in arma3 but I could not edit my name with out making a new profile. I think its time for a change after all this time. Thanks

i had no idea they had a plan to make utes a island you could go to. It would be so cool because it would have only a few people on it and is and would be a reason for a boat and make em usefull because its the only way to go to a big island.

with arma 3 when I made a new user profile I lost all my single player progress so I just went back to user. shame maybe I will have to stick with user if its like that in arma 2.

voip people are easy to read,if they sound like they are trying to be like frankie they are evil. IF there is to of them and they use voip they are dangours. but if you run into someone and they say,"dont shoot" Then I dont comparid to if some one typed it.

If you are bleeding use Bandages,or rip your clothes into rags and use them. painkillers only make you not shake as much.

its alpha when the game is out then they can worry about adding the things people want. They should add what they think is a good Idea first
