but also there's also the counter argument of why should an unarmed player not be able to legitimately defend himself against an armed aggressor? as if someone gets the drop on you and are within punching distance and you have a gun it's more likely the person with the gun is going to be at the disadvantage due to the clumsy nature of using a gun in cqc.

how do you actually find the experimental servers? tried filtering the patch version yest but nothing came up obviously i'm doing something wrong!

I think a lot of it is kids seeing the streams and youtubes and never played the mod because it was too complicated / didn't have the money / whatever and they really just have no idea about the game or anything other than theres loot zombies and you kill people i have a feeling as content gets added and the casuals get bored a lot of this random noob killings will die down.

Not flaming and honestly i stopped reading half way but they by far are not happy with AI and have officially stated that the zombie AI and spawn amounts aren't even close to done again it comes back to the whole alpha thing just give it time and we will see what happens -
Gews have you ever been punched in the face by a fully grown adult? people die every weekend from 1 shot punches at bars and night clubs and these people are intoxicated and unable to judge distance or use full momentum etc a 1 shot K.O to the head it's by far not OP when you don't have any protection and the person is intending to put you down.

find a corner somewhere as close as you can to where you should be and log in and out it should force you out of the glitch area if it doesn't play around try diferent areas in the glitched area woks for me!

as long as you never do it again we can still be friends batman, i just got killed and lost my 3 day old char to a server hopper doing the gamma exploit at night so i'm finding it hard to forgive you!

yeah i ditched the mountain for the hunting pack a few days back so much better just for the sake of being able to see behind you while running helps me keep so much more aware, def worth the loss of 5 slots.

well i just lost a char with 3 days of work, i had the gear i wanted then lost it all to a server hopper doing gamma trick on a night server while i'm running around with a flashlight at the military base south of the international airport.. that hurt. My m4 was amazing -

I lost a character that had survived a gunshot wound and a broken leg which i crawled for 30 minutes to a shed that had some sticks that i remembered i passed agers earlier and had to down zombies on the way so stand up cut them down to fall back down and crawl some more ... he was a super hero he was invincible then the game decided he was too OP and glitched him off of the ship... my heart still cries for him! He is the death so far that got me legit annoyed! -
Anyone know how to make the game full screen windowed there appears to be a window option but it forces a 540 window or something around that anyone know how to get fullscreen windowed working?

you do realise that alpha is pretty much a semi-working format for a game (like when you sand a wall back for a new coat of paint) it's the base, the bareness, the rawwwwwness it's not an actual game, when you hit beta (aka the undercoat of painting a wall :P) is generally when content and optimization comes into play (then when it's a final product the paint is lastly applied and that is how you paint a wall / make a game) -

I don't think anyones truly requesting anything more people are excited and excited to talk about what they would like to see in the game (no matter how stupid it is haha). People just want to talk about why they excited for the game and what they're hoping for it's all just fairy tales! that's how i look at it anywhose let us feel special :( -

Yeah what liam said i haven't tried myself so can't confirm but as far as i'm aware it works but cooking is yet to be enabled

But that raises the question of what is an enemy what if i'm with my mate and where camping and high fiving having good times at any stage he could decided hes had enough of me and axe my face and eat my beanz! I just think simple is always better less dev time less time spent on it still a good resolution and not as likely to cause bugs start getting to crazy with the scripting is when zee bugs start to seep out! (lol a buggy dayz go figure :P) -
sounds aren't even started they're all place holders so yep it's just you're vivid imagination also the zombie sounds in the wild thats zombie dragonflies and rabits :P the game likes to keep us paranoid by pretending there is people always around us atm :P Edit: grammar i should start to proofread before i post... meh

I'm pretty sure (don't hold me to this) but it's been confirmed there will be a logout timer. Honestly 120 sec is far to long 30 seconds is long enough in the fields of war! plus i don't want to wait 2 minutes when i wanna quit so really it's about me coz im selfish -
Silly, of course we can blame him the game came with 100 million warnings and a prompt by dean himself saying do not buy this game he also tweeted about not buying this game all the warnings and advice says 'do not buy this game its broken and buggy and incomplete' anyone paying for it now and complaining about it well... logic ain't logic sometimes i guess
