+1 for the op Use a map to work out your initial position so you know where to head 'roughly' then once you have your basics sack the map of and fend for yourself.

Great guide..... Shame kos seems to be the main mentality..... On my second only ever spawn I found both hunting knife and hatchet very early but was killed by another player for pretty much nothing tbh.... he was better equipped. Now I'm currently running around with nothing but toilet roll in my pockets.....

I'm interested..... What's the ref to veteran about though on the servers though?, as a noob I've been sticking to the regular ones on the basis that I thought veteran would mean tougher or experienced etc

Hey All, Only had the game 24 hours, think ive got most things setup but am looking for Uk based server thats noob friendly, somewhere to cut my teeth till i learn the ropes and is hack/cheat free where possible ? Any suggestions ? Heard Balota brothers are friendly, not sure where they are based but I havent been white list approved anyways.... Any help would be appreciated. Also if anyone is interested and in a similar position and would like to team up for mutual benefit then im interested Torben
