I think BI work on some of this issues, its seems like all the beta patches made specially for DayZ -
I prefer to update DayZ files manually its so simple thing to do there is no need of Six for it...

my advice: stop doing that... why? its pointless, you just waste your system resources and HD space, there is so much DCers out there its just pointless... about cheaters, if you spot a cheater, you need to find out what is his nick first and then you can report, or change server maybe Rocket will fix it somehow, sooner or later... one question: if I kill someone and he DCed will he die or it may not save his death if he DC quick? -
Is this how the Barracks are suppose to be or am I just really unlucky?

there is no such thing as "suppose" in DayZ its random + someone could already take some weapons that was there. -
double click the map anywhere you want if you have one in your inventory press F till you see that you have the grenade *edit* lol, Iam third place here

have you installed Arma 2 and OA into the same folder? -
lol there already 1000 topics about it... when you open the menu go from the bottom so you will press Exit in the worst case. also set your settings in single player or editor.

hmm, try to create new profile then run Dayz using that profile.

check your resolution and user interface resolution make sure they are 100% both.

DayZ uses your CD-Key not your profile. as long as you use the same cd key you will have the same character...
