    I found a rock in an apartment, in the description it said it was good for making firepits. Haven't tried myself but perhaps you need a few of those as well as the normal ingredients.

  3. Thanks for the update Rocket, sounds like you guys are all working hard, and have made some great strides. Also, glad to see you mention Project Zomboid, that game is pretty sweet and has some really neat features in it.   7. Speaking of never dying. Are there any servers that kick and ban players (for a few days or a week) once they die? Or even just until the next restart? I've always thought the notion of dying and coming back a minute later to do anything, gear or not, a bit strange.

    Know that I've seen several of those mentioned before, but still good ideas in my opinion. I don't know much about code or Arma, but I think at the moment some of the the things you suggested might be very difficult to implement due to limitations imposed by the Arma engine and foundational bits of code, not limitations on the capabilities of the coders working on the project. But i genuinely don't know, I'm a dunce when it comes to that sort of stuff. Always liked the idea of having slow, steady zombies more than these sonic the hedgehog zombies. They should just hit harder, and have a much greater chance of passing the infection on to the player, but should be easily outrun/ kited. Unless of course one is able to sink it's teeth into you/grab you as you enter a building or something. Have you played 7daystodie?

    Would be neat, also cool if one or two building types had a little crawl space, or attic/basement. Anyone ever hide in one of the wooden outhouses?

    Facts of patch 1.8 - loot is nonsense

    I don't know about the loot being nonsense. I personally like the direction this patch went in, no more M24's in deer stands, no more DMR's in firestations or hangars. In fact, according to Dayzdb, no more guns at all in hangars, which I think makes sense. Animals definitely still spawn, as I just killed a rabbit and a sheep within 20 seconds and 20 paces of one another. Canned food does seem a bit too prevalent though, hard to complain about though since canned food is often what slowly but surely brings me back to life after a near death experience with a zombie. Drink spawns seem to be pretty reasonable, to me anyway. Glad to see the rolling change log saying that loot will not be spawning in so quickly in 1.8.0.1. At the moment you can go from one barracks to the other at NWAF with very little delay in between and new loot will have spawned. Sniper spawns seem to be down though which I think in general is a good thing. Maybe too many M4s, AKs, and SA-58s. Only my opinion though. Still haven't found Comfrey leaves yet, I forget to look for them a lot of the time, but I really want some sepsis bandages. Edit: Also, found a couple G36-sds but they always disappear as soon as I pick them up, I guess it's a bug and has been like that for a while, but will they be fixed and or removed altogether at some point?

    M16A2 for M24/DMR/A40a3

    Toobad M16A2's are a dime a dozen. And everything your looking for is much much more rare. according to Dayzdb Barracks have .08% chance of spawning an m16 and a .0324% chance of spawning a dmr or M40A3. Even less for m24 You may want to sweeten your deal. (that's a showbiz term for..add sugar to)

    Im still not sure how this works?

    I believe that most if not all epoch servers are private hives. i.e. - what you do on one server has absolutely no bearing on any other server. (Unless you get globally banned). On the official (public) DayZ servers your character and gear will transfer from one to the next.

    Items spawn...

    I've thought about this too, but you might have a whole bunch of people on a server for the first 5 minutes after restart and then a completely dead server for the next 3 hours or whatever...Or admins would just start restarting every half hour or something. But you might be on to something.

    [SA] Endgame

    Well in a way I think we've already started that with people forming clans, big groups like the ones you're referring to don't begin with a king and group of leaders, they begin with a small then ever bigger group of people who feel they are all enough alike that they should focus their violence and exclusion onto others, instead of those in their in-group. Perhaps start a massive clan then play a lot of DayzRP? I also still don't quite get what the end-game becomes. Do people just try to climb the social Hierarchy until they become King? Does it become large scale Clan vs Clan deathmatches on every server? Because I've taken one or two history classes, and somewhere shortly after people started forming groups, they started coming up with more impressive ways to kill people. If I'm the King and don't play the game for an extended period does someone else become King, or does the snake die because it has no head? Do we need to sign a blood oath to become part of a society?     Good idea as a whole and this part I like especially, Always thought that the same should be true for normal water bottles as long as they are in main inventory. And I definitely like the idea of having multiple options for storing water.
