I don't think its possible because it lies in with the dayz code itself and not adjustable, correct me if im wrong, but ive also tried.

Yea basically as amber said, you are basically not running dayz through your beta patch like you are supposed too

Yea but since arma 2 isnt optimized for the new pc technology it will not run right, and dont forget it is an old game, although i do remember when i played arma 2 a year ago it didnt lag at all for me, but further made it lag. And the ai script is the killer here, it is not simple it is very complex and not very how should i say this... not very put together write so they bug out our machines. it is mostly the ai. oh and when you said that your older setup worked better then new it is because arma 2 will work better on different rigs then on others, even if your new one is more expensive, certain graphics cards and processors work better together then others if you get what i mean

If you didn't know already, ArmA 2 is not very optimised, and even people with very good rigs will lag. You will have to wait for the standalone or try to find a certain pc build that arma 2 likes. Also did you try all the tweaks and stuff?
