I always play alone, i don't even team up if i meet nice people offering me this "opportunity"... i sometimes help other players if they are sympathic, but afterwards i go on alone.. it gives a.. deeper feeling of the game than playing together with other... if you got a group of a few well geared people, it just gets too easy and kind of boring. at the moment i could play alone for a long period of time, if i won't encounter well geared KoS players everytime :/ thats the only contra

Rice? i find rice in every building, one time 3 good, full packages in one room. Small protector case? Atleast one in every firewatch. for me, M4 is the rarest :D have seen one since now, on the back of someone, who crossed my Mosin^^. but i just hid the m4 with the body, no need for that gun Edit: And the map... never seen one :/ Edit 2: take one of the 15 bullet magazines laying around eeeeverywhere, put in the .45 rounds laying around eeeverywhere, put into FX Something.

Friday afternoon. Woke up near Kamenka... before i could take my first steps in the SA, i notice another player running towards me. In his hands i see something i couldnt recognize. I died on the same spot that i have started on, with a fire extinguisher in my face. Welcome to DayZ ;)

of course there will be desire to get better weapons... it's not the amount of bullets to take down a Survivor, it's about Range, precision and such things. Try comparing a M4 and a DMR on 800m. Both will kill you on 0-200m but i doubt you oneshot someone at 800m with a M4

A M4 is only oneshotting you, if you are low on health. Yesterday i got ~3 Bullets in the body before passing out from a guy at Balota, in my opinion the SA is a lot more realstic than the mod with its bullet damage

Sometimes you need to drink more to quench your thirst. I had to drink 5 times from a pond until i wasn't thirsty anymore. So maybe the first worked, but you didn't drink enough from it. -
I haven't played the SA yet, cause i'm still downloading it with my incredible fast internet connection. :wacko: Are Zeds still able to open doors/walk through them and climb ladders like in the mod? Zombies climbing up ladders was one of the worst Zombie features in my opinion, because even for a zombie game it is just utterly unrealistic. Havent found a question for that in the forums, so sorry if this already exists.

Nothing special ;) Yesterday my eye was some kind of swollen and i made a macro picture with my phone to check it out. I thought it might be a nice Zombie Eye, so did a little photoshop action and i really like the dirty (and a bit 'wet') style :D

ESET Smart Security 7 or ESET NOD32 Antivirus 7 is causing low FPS/stutter, this might fix it!

it seems that my freezes were caused by my ZoneAlarm Firewall & Antivir and with firewall off i have not experienced freezes since then. whole new dayz experience again ;) thanks a lot -

I play (for example) Battlefield 4 on ultra on steady 70-72 fps and i do not own a game where i get less than 40 fps. These Freezes come up on every graphics quality, even with everything turned off. in Arma 2 and in every Arma 2 Mod. And i got the 32 Gigs "cheap" and i need a lot for rendering and 3d animation. Edit: What i wanted to say with "Theres no game i cannot play on maximum settings" is - "Reduce graphics quality" is not a valid answer or solution to this problem, because i can handle dayz speccs and it's there even on low settings. plus i played without freezes on a far worse pc before -

Thanks but as i said before, it's a freeze, not a lag and it is every 5-10 secs even if i am not moving... on every server i have been so far -

Sorry but that's nothing close to a solution. I have this problem for months now even after reinstallation and on every graphics quality. I got an i7-3770k overclocked on 4,2ghz, 32 GB of ram and a HD 7870 OC and at the moment there's no game i cannot play on maximum setting. This freeze comes up every 5-10 seconds, whether or not you are standing or moving etc and it is not important where exactly you are in the game - It is not a "random occuring" grafic lag or freeze but a periodical freeze. -
No i'm pretty sure it's November 5th 2015 because the gunpowder treason was in 1605...
