Client not responding often happens when the client his internet connection/devices is not very good.

Stay far far away from those servers because it does not sound good. And yes, if you are talking about private hives, they can delete your character. They can do a lot more than that.

Hi. Recently, I died because for some weird reason my character got sort of pushed. I shall explain: I was in the police station/jail on NWA, on the 1st floor in the room with the bed, computer and some other stuff. Then I began scanning the airfield while sitting in front of the window, and *push* I went through the wall, felt down and died. WIth a shitload of gear. So I was kinda pissed. Before that, it happened too, but did not kill me because I was on the ground. It happened when I was inside one of those tents at NWA North, looking at some gear on the ground trying to reach it while my inventory was open, and *push* got pushed through the tent to the outside of it. Maybe a total of about 2/2.5 meters.... Is this a known bug/glitch or something else? Would really like to know what is was so I could maybe prevent it from happening again. Regards, IT07.

Good to know that I am not the only one with the problem. And yes, I would love to reproduce the issue. But I do not want to die again while fully geared lol.

I have one last thing you can try if you didnt already: Type this into any chat: #login yourrconpasswordhere Then, #monitor amountofsecondsyouwantittoshowserverfps When the lag starts, check if network load or server fps starts acting up. If it does, then you know it is the machine.

Well then you have to be looking for a totally different cause. What could be the cause is higher network load at the time you say the lag starts.....

These errors are basically the server saying: "hey hold up a second with all that data, I am busy". Which means that the server is not strong enough to handle all of the players. But it could also be a lot of different factors making it worse. Many people think that the server is always causing red/yellow links but that is not always true. What is true is that players with very low bandwith and packet loss can completely lag out an entire server. The lag gets even worse when a lagging player gets into a full server.

There is a HUGE difference between someone kossing another player that has a lot of gear and a guy shooting a freshspawn with a hatchet for example. What is even more stupid: 2 freshspawns trying to axe eachother the second they get contact.

Celle is so amazing. I really love that map. It would be totally perfect if they made it bigger. Like as big as Altis xD But I do totally agree: Chernarus is missing dense tree areas.

Yesterday there was a hacker in while I was not online and did the following things: - Started his hacktool called infiSTAR Server Wiper - EVERYTHING on the server got deleted - ALL players got thrown into the air and killed But, that is where my BE filters came in, he got kicked for script restriction #4. I checked the logs on that and the restriction was heliexplo. You can go for the Nvidia GTX650 because it fits your spending limit. But don't forget that you need to take other stuff into account: does it fit? And how were you planning on putting it in? You say you don't know a lot about PC's....

Don't expect too much out of a more expensive rig because ArmA 2 doesn't run that great overall. I have a 3770k with a 4Gb GTX670 and I need to play on middle to low settings to make it playable....

You got banned for ruining the fun for my players by camping in Cherno with a lapua and driving along the cost with an Armored SUV, shooting fresh spawns with the turret. Fucked up douchebags like you are not welcome on my server.

I always facepalm myself really bad if I read those replies saying: "Welcome to DayZ" and "That is a part of the game"....... BULLSHIT. It is NOT a part of the game, Dean did not designed it to be like this. Instead, the PLAYERS make it like this. So, BlessedCyn is right: this community.... Hi. Thank you for reading this post. This post is about the DayZ server host called DayZ.ST and my experience with them. First, I must say that my experiences with DayZ.ST are based on a total of 13 months of hosting with them. Here is the story: DayZ.ST was my first host where I started to learn "How to Admin". I read some reviews and found that it was the best host I could get as a starting Admin. The first few months were not disappointing at all. Good control panel, good features, easy and very fast setup, good hosting locations, all great. I had no issues with them for at least 5 months. But then..... The shit started.... my server died. Was down for 3 dayz. Without any notification from DayZ.ST. I emailed them, I tweeted them, did everything I could to make them notice that there is something wrong. Did not help. After 3 dayz of downtime and no response from support, the server went back up. Suddenly, a tweet from DayZ.ST: "*myIP* had a harddisk failure". From then on, nothing wrong. Until October 2013: server restarts taking 5 minutes, insanely slow after coming up, red links and yellow links all over the place, and server performing much worse then usual. Again, I tweeted, I mailed. No response. Then after 5 weeks of trouble; a tweet from them. Not to me, but a normal tweet saying that they did some maintenance on London servers. (my server is in the UK). That luckily fixed the issue, my server was ok again. But now, since December 2013 I am having big problems again. For about 3 weeks I have huge problems with my high-population server, here is what happens: 1. Server randomly crashing 2. Server going down for 1 day without any word from DayZ.ST 3. Server making lots of people loose connection for short time 4. Yellow and red links are all over the place 5. Possible signs of stuff not getting loaded from the Database correctly 6. Massive ping spikes to the server. (tested with a high-performance fiber server in a datacenter) 7. Insane desync without any red link or yellow link 8. And so on... I know that servers can fail but the worst of all is that there is no word from the host even if I, the customer ask for support and clarification on what is going wrong. And when they do reply, they only apologize but do not answer the questions. Or they just reply with an answer that I got before on a totally different question. When the host does not give you any word back, it feels like they do not give a flying fuck about you and your server. And all of this really makes me sad, that there are server hosters out there that do this. I have been hosting with them for a long time and I love their setup and features they give to their customers. But lately, they screwed up for me by not responding to me at all and leaving me with a full server that is lagging the fuck out of it's rack and desyncing worse than a player with 149384924712384 ping.
