    Primary weapon disappearing.

    Logged out yesterday after having played 1.7.1.2 for a while. Had basically everything.. M14, Colt 1911, rangefinder, NVG and all gadgets (matches, hatchet, GPS etc). Ghillie suit that never bugged on me. Plenty of steaks and water.. Applied patch 1.7.1.4 and spawned. Now I'm still in the ghillie suit and still in my rather secluded location of choice where I logged out from but all weapons are gone and replaced with a Makarov. Rangefinder and NVG are gone and replaced with binoculars.. Some of the meat is still there though in the coyote bag that spawned instead of my ALICE. Rather boring way to lose your stuff.. Any way to revert?

    1.7.1.1 is to hard?

    Having just played one day session and one night session on 1.7.1.1 I must agree that spawns in general are very weird. Empty tin cans and watches all over the place. If I didn't have canteens and camping gear and had close access to both wildlife and water I'd be dead multiple times over.. But maybe this patch simulates life after most of the supplies are already gone? With worms in your stomach forcing you to eat and drink 20 times a day.. I must say I like zombies now. Before you could crouch run in circles around them with ease, now you need to mind line of sight. Well, at least during the day of course. At night you can still solo a town without aggroing one single zombie, especially with NVGs.
  4. Is it possible to have zombies spawn on a player? If so zombies should spawn in a random location around a player after he shoots his weapon to simulate that walkers are everywhere, not just in towns. They should spawn outside of the 30 meter minimum distance, say 50-150 meters out (edit: or even longer, a kilometer maybe?), and then have them jogging in the direction of where the gunshot was heard until they see someone or until they get so far away from players that they despawn. Maybe spawn more zombies the louder the weapon is? And have a timer for the specific area so that only one batch of zombies can spawn in a specific area at any one time? Etc etc.

    Be more wary when around other players? My character has been alive for over 30 days now. I don't seem to be having this problem so many are complaining about. Me neither. Ever since I found the NVG goggles I only play on pitch black servers and I tell you, it's like night and day! No one ever bothers me at the edge of the map where I hunt animals and drink water from ponds. Yeah, all these people complaining that they get shot by everyone else are clearly not doing what they can to get out of sight. Which is entirely what this game is about. Those who disagree are either bandits or carebears.

    Sure, sometimes you die from scum. But often you meet people in the middle of nowhere and do some trading, and afterwards both parties go their separate ways. Still 50/50 though....
