Ok, so I am going to be purchasing parts for my first ever gaming rig, and I have everything I want ready to buy, BUT I cannot for the life of me decide whether to buy an EVGA GTX 680 or a Sapphire 7970! I have done a bunch of research and keep getting mixed results. A lot of people say go with the 7970, while another group says go with the 680.. 7970: http://amzn.to/14n0eVA 680: http://amzn.to/XaYxbQ One of the main games I am buying a computer like this for is Arma 3. Arma 3 uses PhysX which is produced by nvidia, so I am assuming that the game would run a tad better with the 680 (ASSUMING..) But I dont know if its even worth the extra money. So I have turned to here. Please convince me somehow to buy one or the other! THANKS!

Another thing you can do with this, is if the body was bleeding when it died, if you hide it, it leaves a very slight noticeable blood trail to where you dragged it.. just an idea :D

Will this computer set up be able to run games like this (DayZ) and BF3?

Sweet! Also one more thing, will it be able to run Arma 3 high settings? -
I find it ironic that I just posted a suggestion about this using rope at about the same time you posted this! XD

Ah okay then! Thanks for the reply! Also, what do you mean by "BF3 will be a joke.." You mean that this rig can power through it fine.. cause 60 - 80 is fine for me.. I dont care about getting like 120 frames on anything cause I mean, all I get in dayz right now is like 20 frames XD -
Hello, first off I would like to thank you for taking your time for reading this, I appreciate it a lot! DISCLAIMER: PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF ANY OF THE IDEAS MENTIONED IN THIS TOPIC WERE ALREADY MENTIONED! ENTER-ABLE TENTS: Ok for this idea, I was thinking about having the ability to go inside a tent and hide in there for different things. Possibly if it is raining, it is a way to keep you warm. Also, it would be a great way to hide from wild life (like dangerous wild life that people want in SA, if implemented) or even from players. Downside would be that you can only fit up to 2 - 3 players inside, and that you can only see in first person in the tent (so the team would have to design some sort of interior.) Also, the tent would be able to be opened up from the front and back and exposes the interior so that if a player is hiding in the tent, another player can find out if someone is in there and can kill him. "Hold-Up" emote/command: For this one, the player has the ability to put his hands up if a stranger holds him up. So if you were just looting in a town, and suddenly you hear from behind you say, "Put your hands up right now, or I will shoot you!" From this you can respond by hitting a certain key (like how "\" causes your player to salute) and this will put your players hands up, causing anything in the players hands to go back into his inv. From this, if your player has his hands up, anyone who comes close to you, they have full control over your inventory. They can take anything that your player has on him including on himself and backback. Also, they can tie ropes around your wrists, causing you to be unable to use anything, just be able to walk/run. Rope is not in game, I know, but with this idea, it can be implemented. Also, if you are in this situation, if you can run away, (without being shot and killed of course..) you can get a knife to cut away the rope. If your player has a knife on him, you have the option to *cut rope* and escape from it. Well, those are just a couple of my ideas, and like I said earlier, please forgive me if these suggestions were mentioned.. But if you liked my ideas, feel free to spare me a can of beans! Thanks!!

Ok, so I am definitely not the best at choosing the right parts for a computer, especially a gaming one. I know what the most known processor and video card types (Nvidia/AMD, Intel, etc.) are, however choosing ones to go together is what I am not good at. (Like the motherboard, in how I chose a mini but I donot know if it will work with the case and other hardware...) Basically I am asking if these choices I made on amazon are good for when I actually rack up all the cash to buy the parts with. Also, it would great if you could tell me what kind of games it can play and what settings they can reach.. Ok, heres the set up: CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 Quad-Core Processor 3.2 GHz GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7850 1GB GDDR5 RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Intel H77 mini ITX POWER SUPPLY: Corsair Builder Series CX 750 Watt HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB CASE: Cooler Master Elite 430 - Mid Tower Alright, there it is. Im looking into playing games like DayZ and Bf3 on high to max settings :D
