Launch options, brah, launch options. Assuming you're running it from Steam, go to properties and set launch options and put -mod=@Dayz_taviana (just an example, still downloading so don't know what are the exact folders) and disable regular @dayz if it's there. -
I remember changing my handedness to left in CS:S years ago. It was pretty bad and I couldn't shoot for shit, so I probably wouldn't be using it.

If OP means Otmel off Kamyshovo, you don't have to swim to them and there are no chopper spawns. Skalisty is a different matter, and it's always filled with tents. -

By my rough estimate Namalsk is under 50km2, so yeah... Chernarus is quite a lot bigger.

Excellent, been waiting for this map to be released for both DayZ and vanilla ArmA 2. Hope Martin's optimised it a bit, since I could barely play in the city in the latest beta. Also crossing the bridge is going to be pretty mental. -
There are also S.T.A.L.K.E.R buildings in that map.

I agree, something like simply pressing 1 to open up a menu with a few things you could do and then pressing for example 1 again to do the friendly stuff. Also, moar shits n' giggles when you're messing around with your squad. Spam friendly, lay down on a steep hill, point your gun at the sky and roll around, you know, the usual stuff.

VON has no impact on direct comms, so disable it if you don't want to hear people spamming side chat. That's if you're playing on servers with side chat enabled.

Are they going to fix this at some point? Apparently I can use DayZ Commander to play, but I would still prefer using Steam.
