how often would you trust a bandit skin character?

Well every bandit I encountered in the newbie areas is hunting the noobs. So now I dont even think I shoot. Hell other players I see who adjust to move towards me I shoot. I have been fooked over alot in the 2 weeks I have been playing so I dont take chances anymore. -

OK I dont get it, I stalk a small town count maybe 7 or 8 Z's I sneak in and kill one with an AXE and start to loot it and I get jumped by 3 and then more and more come, when all is said and done I have like 40 bodies on the ground and I see more comming. I dont get it what am I doing thats triggering them to come out of the woodwork. It seems I get less spawns if I kill them with a rifle from the tree line and then go into a town to loot. What do I need to do to clear a small town of 10 buildings in order to be able to look around for 5 minutes with out getting jumpped by instant spawns.

Me and my buddies are on US 4460, we are still new and getting the hang of it. We are trying to gather supplies and then push off to get away from the coast because all the "PRO" players with M24's and such hunting the dudes with shotguns and Axes. Will I ever get to be that good and be able to hunt the dangerous and deadly noob with an enfield with my sniper rifle and gille suit

Any way to consolidate partial magazines say the enfield for example, I have a 3 and a 5 round magazine can I combine them to one 8 round magazine.

^ Learned that the hardway the other night when a friend joined me and my mic got stuck on for some reason. As to the improvements I can not speak of because I am "D+8" I understand and it makes sense some actions trigger agro, its just lately I get agro I cant account for. Me and a buddy where moving accross a field with my buddy on point, the zombie infront of him aggro on me and ignored him even with him shooting. Does the gear we carry effect the sound footprint we make ?

Event happened at aprox 2:02 am CST on US 3480. Several people were stunned and then leg broken within a 2 minute period. THe Battleeye kicked 2 people but I could not tell who at that point. What other info do u need How about this since the leg breaking script seems to be a common one why not disable it the game for Dayz and then log people running it for a perm ban.

1.) I found a 16 slot backpack but it seems to only let me hold 12 1 slot items. Is there something I am doing wrong. 2.) is there any way to store a rifle or pistol in a pack 3.) I found a tent so now what a.) where do I set it up b.) is it safe from other players raiding it? if its safe from raiding can I allow allies to access it c.) can I have mulitple tents accross the map d.) can I move the tent at a later time e.) can I store a bike in a tent 4.) Is there a way to get like GPS numbers of where I am standing 5.) If I repair a vehicle and use it, do I keep it when I log out or the server reboots, or does it go away?

it just seems odd that when I axe one in a yard and go to grab the gear when I stand up to move I hear " RAWR " and see like 4 of them come running from the hills to me, I thought their eyesight was bad and their hearing good

Ok so is it just me or do zombies run pretty straight and then when they come towards you in the last 5 feet of travel they teleport\warp right next to you ?

Ok so I setup my tent and was not thrilled with its location. But I cant get it to pack up, I emptied its contents and made sure I had 3 open slots in my backpack. It is behind a tree not in it, the only thing I can think of is I died after pitching the tent so since the character I am using to try and pick it up is technically not the guy who set it up, could that be an issue ? Side note where is a good place to find AR mags

So if I setup a tent on Offical server 777, can people on offical server 555 see it or only the people on server 777? If I decided to play on official server 444 would my tent and vehicle port with me ?

A good advice for all Players: Don't use maps.

I made a 20 x 17 map and mounted it to foam board and use push pins with number flags to mark where I found things like water or hospitals and grocery stores. I am now going to use the 40 x 60 printer to make a larger color map. I can tell you when your friends look at your note\log book and map and see the game they are begging to play. -
Ok so I am running an i5 3.4 ghz with 16gig ram on an nvidia 560ti with 2gb ram with raid 1 on the data drive and an SSD for OS. So that should handle the game, any lag issues i am seeing may be an issue caused by my old router or the onboard lan card. So I will swap those out. Any other tunning advice or options anyone can suggest ? I am also getting timeouts while trying to connect to some servers when it shows my ping is 34ms and the server is 22ms

I see peopel talking about taking over a town, how would one do that. I have been in a small town and after killing 150 zombies I was brought down. How would one secure a town ?
