What we're looking for is another clan that will call our server home. Perhaps at times we will pull our forces together and perform a mega-raid through NWAF or Cherno, but I think mostly we can depend on one another to be rivals and keep the game challenging. You raid us, we raid you and so on and so forth. NCK has a teamspeak server and we would make a private, locked channel for you. If the clans aren't too large, there could be room for more than one. Think about it, we claim the north, you claim the south and the rogue clan claims a small area in the west. Send your forces to raid us, make a truce and trade weapons or vehicles. It could play out many different ways and we're definitely looking to add something more to our server. We want you and yours to be a part of it too! Also, take part in our special events as organizers or as contestants! While server traffic is just starting to pick up, it is a great time to check us out. The server is a few weeks old. The vehicles have been found but all the spawn points are the original so they aren't hard to find. Especially since NCK seems to suck at keeping a vehicle in one piece. You shouldn't have that hard a time finding one.

As long as the final blow is done with a crossbow and it is a crossbow that kills him (not bleeding out, not zombies, etc.) What do you mean by server hopping? I mean, if you're on the server and see him and then ghost up behind him and then hop back in the server that's a little lame, yeah. This is why we ask all participants to record it. Your third question makes me a little worried. I mean, you have to be in the server long enough to find him right? Just don't act sketchy and it should be fine. If you're really worried, record all day till it happens and then edit the video. If you're in the server for two minutes, we've never seen you in the server before, and you kill him within that time - we might be checking into it. If you think/feel like what you're doing might be wrong, then don't do it. That's all I have to say. If it is extremely questionable, we'll show the video and describe the event as it happened in here and let the general public give their input I guess. I hope this answer is fair enough to you, and everyone else.

Server US 520 is also Vanilla. It has admins on regularly and a teamspeak server. It is hosted from Chicago, IL USA so I am not sure how that will be for your ping, but if it isn't great for you, US 3480 is an awesome server too.

It sounds interesting but I don't know how it would work because people who start playing a year after release will have totally missed out on the first bit of the game. I think it would be too difficult to implement properly in a game like DayZ. Especially with the real-time aspect as well. And I think NPC's ruin the game, but that's just my opinion. There are enough people wanting to play to make the game a completely player based community (aside from the zombies themselves of course).

We will definitely be having more events on our server. This one is a crossbow challenge. Later we'll have a hatchet fight, or sniper kill, Makarov Kill, etc. Who knows really? But it makes a challenge for players. The whole thing started when Brick told Tr1x (another NCK member) that he killed someone with a crossbow and was probably the best crossbow killer (har har har - not). He then proceeded to say that he would pay real money to see someone take him out with a crossbow. Tr1x took him up on the offer. And here we are today, with this merciless killer still running loose. (reason for edit: spelling mistake)

A lot of people get this restriction. It happens as a glitch sometimes. I've had it happen to me before I was even fully loaded into the game yet.

US 520 is a public/official Vanilla server. You should try it out

I will confirm the prize amount is $20.00, twenty Canadian dollars, through pay pal. If for some reason we can't use paypal (the winner does not have an account) we would be willing to order a pizza up to the value of $20 from the winners local pizza place if we're able. North Country Killers now has their own server and are looking for some regular players to populate it. We welcome groups and clans, as well as solo players. NCK recently began renting a public hive server. We are interested in having clans play on the server regularly (to consider our server their home). I also want to add, because I don't want to make a new thread, and because I thought the contest would be over already, that we have in-server events for all server users to join! The current event is the Cross Bow challenge, which involves the killing of Brick with a crossbow! The prize is $20 CAD, to be paid by pay pal.
