...so if you want to know what VRAM you have you can run DXDIAG... just fyi (NVIDIA cards with optimus will not report this correctly, if im not mistaken... I know mine wouldn't) my question is when you put in the maxvram does it have to be in quotations? or does it matter? i've tried it with and with out and it seems to not make a difference, but maybe im just not doing it correctly -

oh crap... really? ugh... ive got a 2gb nvidia... yeeeeaaaaahhhhh ima gonna have to change that, i didnt get that memo.. <_< ok so I didnt find anything on the maxvram 512 on very high but I did find where 2047 is the soft-coded max for the game (maxmem is also 2047), http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma2:_Startup_Parameters so might as well just put in 2047 on the launch options just to make sure -

This happened to me in Namalsk yesterday ... in my case, i just kept swimming and I popped back up but it took a while. I feel your pain! maybe ask the server admin to intervene?

Hey all, here is a little somethin' I did yesterday. Just out lootin' & 'splorin' a long way from camp... and leave myself without a way back, other than walking... when I'm operating solo, I tend to get the dumb, I didn't realize something like this would happen (even though its happened before with land vehicles). Keep in mind, I'm a bit of a noob on this game too. Its funny now looking back, but at the time, I was a bit irritated. :D http://youtu.be/chdId471NM8

dude that is brilliant! wish i had one at the time (although i ended up walkin to cherno and found a UAZ at the hospital so... i didnt have to walk ALL the way back to camp) oh i like that idea :thumbsup:

This made me actually LOL, :lol: .. ... I drink them first if I have them, I wish you could combine them with syringes though and tap a vein... cuz u know, thats the way to go... or maybe have a "snort Dew" option on the scroll wheel :|

ohhh... im interested! (I just need to figure out why I'm getting the "kicked off the game" problem on EVERY server first) I'm 38 in the western U.S., getting a bit tired of the "lonewolf" role, I love to play in groups either as a hero or a bandit (prefer hero tho). I'm not much of a sniper/long range shooter, but I am an above average chopper pilot (viva la huey!) so It balances itself out. Hopefully you all will still have room when I'm able to get in. B) -
