    Neither, I kill when I have to, I avoid when avoiding is the best option, I defend my friends, and I get revenge against those who kill my friends.

    Then you obviously do not understand the reason why Dean is making the game the way it is, it's mostly about SURVIVAL not a call of duty run around with infinite ammo(scavenger perk) and in ghillie suits and acog quick scoping til you get a nuke.

    Why are you against many military items in game?

    Brains are stronger and better than brawn, if you can outwit and out play someone you will always win than the person with the bigger and better weapons.

    The game has a 24 hour day/night cycle, deal with it otherwise GTFO.

    Should this be called fun?

    Yes and no, rocket never intended the game to be a pure PvP game, rocket intended the game to be 50% PvP, 50% ACTUAL surviving. ACTUAL surviving as in, looting buildings, trying to remotely avoid hostiles to not waste ammo, killing rage induced humans, and making a base and a community amongst the community already in the game.

    Night Time is Unplayable

    Yes realistically night time isn't pitch black unless there's a lunar eclipse. As for almost every server being night, Bohemia implemented a system into the engine that takes the real world time based on where the server is in, say if its in NY state it would be 4:31 pm right now. So server times are based on realistic times. It's like in Vanilla WoW blizzard had a system that litterally took the weather based on YOUR location and it would project that into your game (no one else can see it except for you unless they have the same weather as you do)

    Why ARMA Engine?

    Yes lets remove 60 to 70% of the player base because of an engine, generally MMOs such as world of warcraft COULD use better engines but at the cost of LESS players, and a HIGHER price, I guarantee you if they go and use an engine like Crytech the game would PROBABLY be around 80 USD to cover the project and be remotely able to recover from the costs, trust me worst possible choice ever.

    Thing is though a stopped vehicle an easy target anyone with half a brain would keep on the move.

    Well the issue with DayZ mod everyone really only went after armed helis, due to that anyone with an armed heli would just fly up and down the coast killing everyone.

    This is mainly targeted towards armed vehicles. Instead of helis armed and jeeps(cars or suvs even personnel carriers such as a ural) make it so we can fire from the vehicles, this would greatly reduce armed vehicle abuse.

    The "zombies" in DayZ are not "zombies" they're rage induced humans, something more or less like 28 days/weeks later.

    Is a Hive necessary ?

    All the hive is a database, that's all it is almost every game that is open world and contains a vast amount of players tend to have a database for the sole purpose of containing character information, look at World of Warcraft they have a database for every realm. do you really want something like that for dayz? Everyone would more then less likely quit the game if they did that.

    Not even remotely true, ever hear of "Strength in numbers"? Well what odds are there that a solo bandit has a chance to survive a group of bandits, you would be out-manned and out-gunned.
