    Yes, I know this is still in alpha. But can the next update (or sometime real soon?) PLEASE prioritize fixing the animals making zombie noises? Its extremely annoying. ESPECIALLY when you occasionally get what I have come to call "the fully formed zombie grunt", and it sounds like you got one right on your arse. The extra paranoia is not what I need in this game right now. Besides which, even the "partial grunts" happening constantly are really annoying.

    Bad idea. I agree, something needs to be done to prevent server hoping, but this isn't the answer. do you know how many times I have joined a server, even one with low ping, and INSTANTLY regretted it? How many times I have logged in and found myself rubberbanding, dealing with input delays (cant pull out a weapon, or when I do, clicking RMB to swing my axe and the axe swings 5 seconds later)? I DO NOT want to be forced to play in one bad server for 24 hours. or even 6 hours. And don't even get me started about badmins....

    ok folks. i found a solution: USE DAYZCOMMANDER. it offers the ability to roll back to an older version (1.6.7.1 is the newest, and is buggy. many servers arent updating to it. many are sticking with 1.7.6, which PWS is now past, and does not offer the ability to roll back to a previous version). my recomendation: KEEP PWS for the other games you can play on it (not just dayz), but UNINSTALL dayz from PWS. Download Dayzcommander, select the older version 1.7.6 to install, find your favorite server, and continue playing as the same person w/ the same gear you had when using PWS.

    Ok, i downloaded that file to my desktop, but where do i PUT it? sorry im new to all things arma...

    could you maybe elaborate? i dont understand how I done anything wrong. PWS is not updating to the latest version. All of the servers are using 1.7.6-Finalising, but PWS seems to be stuck on 1.7.6.1. I dont undestand what the problem is.

    to elaborate, i click to join a server and it tells me "server is running a different version of the mod, do you want to continue?" so i click yes. I get all the way to the character creation when it tells me "something went wrong, try again". a few seconds later, it tells me i need a new version (1.7.6-finalising), and that i am running 1.7.6.1. It tells me to come to THIS website to download it, but the downloads section only offers 1.7.6.1! and play with six is telling me that 1.7.6.1 IS the current up to date version.
