Well you just have the bad luck to select a server which is hacked or in which the mission.pbo file is so altered that you spawn as a bird. Just select a different server. And yes. Use DayZ Commander. Set filter options for: - Wrong version of the game - Wrong version of the mod Now refresh server list en join one of the servers of which de description is to your liking. Change it by pressing G for your gear. then select the suit (if you have it, depending on server you start with) and right click on it and then select the option to change into you costume. Btw. Do you have this problem on all servers? or just one you tried? And do you use DayZ Commander to start up DayZ? Hey All, We were on the server 08-03-2013 20:40 hours (GMT+1) and suddenly Connection Lost. When the server came back up.... me and my friends (ingame nicks: Niek, Kravener, Allan) got banned. Any clues? Hope you can resolve it!

Found heli's more that once at the lake near Kopyto. Just north of Prigorodky

walk around the vehicle or player and changing distance of approach helps for me. Sometimes is seems buggy to me too. very weird.

Make sure you loot the barracks, almost every day I go there I find either a primary weapon or a secondary. Try to get a helicopter and find crash sites.

Well then teach me if you post this stuff.... As far as I know you do not require special ammo for the gun to be silent.... (you can ofcourse use subsonic ammo, but its not required! that only lowers the noise even more) Its the silencer mounted on the gun that does the trick. If you know anything else or if you can teach me, please let me know!

I love it! Brilliant job on scripting that and i sure hope they implement it!! If you have loads of spare time left and want to make it very realistic then: - wind in the entire server blows in same direction? - wind directions and speeds can be different within a 1000 yard (914,4 meters) range. - wind is altered by the buildings - humidity comes into count when making long range shots - air temperature comes into count when making long range shots - barrel temperature ..... - ammunition temperature.... They all influence the energy the bullet carries and the speed of which the bullet drops over a certain range. So again, very nice job on getting this done!

That being said Shrimpy223, it is ofcourse weird that we have silenced mags! Since normally you would just attach a silencer to a gun. Therefore I totally agree with JIJOK So for the sake of realism in this game.... Let us use both mags for the guns.

They do run more straight, but the 'Warp' is just you! I've never encountered that issue :) Edit: Look in patch info 1.7.6 en find the following line: * [uPDATED] - AI behavior updated to try making them zigzag less.

Partially I agree, but I dont like the idea of unlockables for the sake of realism in this game. The fact that you should be able to customise your gear sounds appealing, but I dont know how hard it is to implement. Good coordination with friends (via skype or ventrilo) should also make this easier. In the SA there will be a lot of clothing options, so probably they will be easier to recognise then!

Depends on the server you are playing. I can spawn it (The MH60S) at my server but its a bit buggy, I can get in and fly around without any problem. But if i land it bugs out and 'Locks' me inside the vehicle and cannot run away from it. Spawning apaches works fine, and the MH6J too! Also able to spawn the MV22 without any problem.

Only fun i see is that the sniper 500 meters away can kill him again and again! that sounds fun! :D

Kill more, get used to it! :P Nothing we can do about your nerves (my heartbeat also raises when im about to shoot haha) I also think its a mindset: Dont panic, tell yourself you're going to kill that &*#^&%)(# that is shooting at you! Perhaps go full retard like Arnold Schwarzenegger and yell out very loud and weird when you are attacking (Never tried this, so please share any awesome experiences)

Also depends on the server. Private hives can set a max amount of particular vehicles and a change on spawn when server restarts. For example they set the Huey to max 3 on server. and a spawn rate of 55%. this means that if there is One in the server already, there wont be a second one till server restarts. IF the server restarts it has a 55% change (per heli, 2/3 and 3/3) to spawn at one of the designated locations. None of these locations have a preference to another location, so basically it CAN spawn at every location. In worst case (theoretically) the heli doenst spawn at all for 20 (or more) restarts in a row.....

In the server list... is the server name typed in white or in grey colour?

Nope, it doesnt unfortunately, Just remember any thing in particular of the servername that you joined. (or IP) With the search function your friends can search for the server you joined and connect to that as well! Good Luck!
