No keyloggers or malware, I am very careful on this and I scan my machine on a daily basis with multiple programs and nothing detected, I dont download dodgy programs or torrents etc because I am well aware of the dangers of this. As for the payment for the game, My only complaint is if theyve taken my money and taken away my access to the multiplayer part of the game I am not after anything other then my money back or my access restored........if ive got my money back wuithout argument I dont care I can buy another copy and if the same happens again simply repeat the transaction, if however they wish to dispute the chargeback they will need to provide proof and reasoning as to why.....and I know they wont be able to as I know ive been banned for no reason...... so either way using this method I win, ive either got my money back or they have to admit they have no justifiable reason to ban me and reverse my ban to allow me to continue playing if they want to keep the money.

Id take that bet, im pretty sure unless someone has been controlling me with some kind of mind ray and then blanking my memory afterwards that I havnt done anything illegal in this game in the 2 weeks ive owned it. I dont know why your so confident, after all pleanty of people have had bans overturned by battleeye a friend of mine did himself simply due the cheat engine picking up something as a `trainer` program when it wasnt anything of the sort. Face it the system they use for cheat detection in this game is broken and it is wrong for people to be banned simply because of battleeye relying on a dodgy program to detect cheats for them. Im merely standing up for my rights as a consumer I dont know why that generates so much slander, are you all that brainwashed you belive the games companys are always right and anyone with a complaint must have a false one? Anyways as for the guy stating I bet he doesnt get a reply....ive already reversed the payment on my card used to pay for the game, if they want there money theyll have to reply and it will have to go through the usual channels with the credit card company......battleeye will have to prove misdeeds if they want there money, if they cant or they refuse to show the evidence then the credit card company will take my side. I know because ive used the reverse charge service in a similar way before. At the end of the day battleeye may say they are under no obligation to provide proof to me of why ive been banned.....however if they want the credit card company to overturn the judgement and recharge me then they WILL need to provide proof of an acceptable reason why ive had the multiplayer part of the product taken away from me(this is the reasoning I used behind the reverse charge) If they simply claim ive broken the tos then I will contest that I havnt and they will then have to prove I have to continue the process. I dont need to take them to court I just need to do it via my credit cards reverse charge channels.

Yes if you break there terms and conditions.....but if they refuse to prove youve broken those terms and conditions that is where the problem lies as that is technically illegal under consumer law, they cannot prevent access without a justifiable reason they have proof for, battleeye rely on a automated program which have been proven time and time again to ban people unfairly through faults in the program.....the very fact that there are pleanty of people out there who have had bans overturned due to being wrongly banned by the automatic program is battleeyes own admission that it doesnt work properly......now when your talking about refusing me access to a product I have paid for(the product as a whole includes multiplayer access) based soley on results generated by this faulty system that is where the law is cloudly. Of course they have to provide proof under consumer law for such an action, if they didnt people could do this for anything and for any reason to anyone they wanted. I think games companies think they are somehow allowed to circumnativigate these laws and that is where they are a wrong, you buy a game its like buying any other product and if ive paid for that game and you want to take part of it away.....you better have a damm good reason and you better have evidence to back up that reasoning. Im going to take this further via some careful legal work I will let the members of this forum know how it comes out as such decisions could affect the entire community, I do not belive terms of service aggreement which restricts consumer rights is even legal for 1. and I do not belive they can just take part of a paid for product away from a customer and not have to present some kind of evidence to say how such a move is justified. On reading basic consumer law im pretty clear battleeye are in the wrong here, maybe theyve just never been challenged in such a way. Im not some punk kid, I work hard for my money and ill ne dammed if im going to be defrauded in such a way,. be it a 20 quid pc game or a new car. anyway ill keep you all posted if and when I recieve any reply from the battleye end.

In my eyes consumer rights and consumer law trumps any biased tos from a games company......if I have paid for a product I am then protected by those consumer laws, I am pretty convinced that unless battleye can present to me evidence that I have been hacking then they have no right to prevent me access to the product I have paid for....to do so would come under fraud leglistation, taking money for a product which doesnt work....in this case a product which includes a faulty cheat detecting engine which prevents use of the product unjustifiabley

Tried to get into this game but pretty dissapointed, way harder then I expected, ive spawned a total of about 10 times....everytime ive run to the nearest houses only to find them all access denied and i always run into a zombie trying to find one that is to gear myself up and i just cant get rid of them, eventully i die or i get bored of running stop and let them kill me. Im dissapointed, why can I not find any useable buildings like all the people in the youtube newbie guides seem to find right away? and how do you avoid death by zombies if theyre all over the place and you have no defence as you cant get in a damm house to get a weapon! any help?

Glad I did the game does have a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of the basics its awesome....nothing else like it around, to think this is just a mod as well is mind boggling, I got arma 2 combined op because I had to, to play dayz and I havnt even touched arma2 yet im having to much fun hiding from zombies and trying to become a big shot with a sniper rifle heh heh

The guy posting above stars and stripes thanks for the info, been having a lot of fun on your server last few days, no hackers seen, no bambi killing assholes seen spot on it seems very well run and setup. I may have to apologise to some of the members of sas black clan though, had some fun last night with them in electro, i was at deaths door barely any blood left after to many run ins with zombies, got to the firestation roof and found on a dead player an assault rifle(forget which one but it had a scope.....m1 something or other) and a load of ammo for it (lucky find) anyway i fancied having a pop at some geared people as with my supplies and health so low I couldnt do much else, so I went into sas blacks teamspeak channel and found them discussing going causing chaos around electro.....seperatrly in chat I made out to another player I pretended I wanted to team up and said I was going to the supermarket.......they obv saw this as the ts chat turned to going to the supermarket and taking me down......Soon as they appeared I dtarted trying to snipe them, failing badly due to never having fired anything bigger then a pistol in dayz before and my aim sucking, but it was hilerious them not noticing I was in there teamspeak and listening to them try and hunt me down as I took put shots at them(.....hes definitly in the church.......ummm no hes not guys haha) I died in the end from a well placed sniper round when after about half an hour they finally relised where the shots were coming from (pretty poor no offence....high up sniper purches like the fs roof would have been the first place id have looked lol) they seemed slightly angry when I let out id been listening in to there team speak but hey thats why you should police your channels I was just giving a friendly tip :P But it was fun to cause some random chaos in the game any members of team sas black reading this you were very lucky Im new to the game, I had 2 or 3 of you in my sights at certain times and if not for not noticing my scope was to far back and shooting the roof of the building rather then firing a shot off youd have lost a few members :P No offence meant and im intending on making this server my perm home now as ive had such fun, any clans fancy a new eager member? the lone wolf act is fun but a lot harder to survive so im looking to join a team, I do have teamspeak obviously and im on mostly in the evening hours gmt.

Dude what version of the game are you playing? i cant find the server via dayz commander, when i go to launch it via the dayz launcher itself it says bad version, version being used 1.62 but i cant find 1.62 on the list of dayz versions to retroactivily install on dayz commander, is it a really old version im going to have to find manually?

Ok well after about a week or so of playing ive got the hang of it now, like you guys said the game does have a steep learning curve! I think my problem was I paid to much attention to certain newbie vids on youtube which although gave some good advice also have bad advice, particualy the one where the guys running around a lot not bothering to be stealthy, this made me think it was ok to do this which is why I had such trouble with zombies, obviously if youve been playing for a while and you know how to dodge zombies easily like the guy did then its no probs but for a newbie it is. anyway so ive been playing a lot, dying a lot but enjoying it, longest ive stayed alive was about 4-5 hours in a long sesh I played yesterday was a bit annoyed actully about my manner of death, after a long sesh yesterday I logged out having geared myself up well with everything apart from the sniper rifle I was after (went to and looted the southern airfield when server was almost empty only to find literally nothing there....was kind of annoyed but i guess its the luck of the spawn) I logged out on top of a fire station in electro again after finding nothing there(just my luck when I finally chance going to some of the `danger but rewarding` areas nothings there haha) logged in this morn, under cover of darkness tried to get out of electro, had a zombie get lucky on me and break my leg before I killed him, had no morphine so crawled on my belly through half of electro to get to the hospital(thankgod it was dark lol) got the morphine got back up, had another zombie get a lucky hit in and lost a bit of blood needed to find food fast as my blood was low enough to the point where you can hear the heartbeat and you cant see easily.....got right next to the supermarket, about to go inside and some twatish other player comes out and shoots me dead point blank without explanation, very low as I wasnt even armed at the time other then my axe and I plainly wasnt going for him. Thats the biggest annoyence ive found so far, selfish players...... I have no issue with bandits pvp is a big part of this game however a couple of deaths have pissed me off, once when I was a bambi not even an axe running to find supplies and some idiot just sniped me like a coward from the top of the fire station with no warning, and once when like I say I was running for supplies unarmed and again shot for no reason...I know this is a survival game however pvp is meant to be a challegne, cutting down wounded or unarmed players for no reason is no challenge and just cowardly. Never mind ill pick myself up and try again finding the game kind of addictive in that way.....hmmm how long can I survive for this time? y`know? anyway just wondering if anyone knows the best way to join a clan on this game? Ive found it quite hard being a lone wolf and I think id like to get with a regular bunch of players who help each other out and band together for mutural protection etc, I think thats the only way im going to get to the level ive seen where you can get a chopper with no problems etc. any clans looking for green but keen members? give me your server info ill be more then happy to join.

I aggree with the op here, at the end of the day this is only a game, all these people whining about people killing them etc....is dayz not a survival game? in such a situation there could very well be people who just think sod it im now free to kill and take as much as I want. Im not a dayz player as of yet however I intend to change that soon when I get around to buying arma 2 and This is exactly what im looking forward to....sod the `banding together with other survivors` things, its a bit of fun not a group threapthy session, na im going on a human hunt. day 1. get my bearings and supplies, arm myself. day 2 onwards.....start hunting! if its moves ill take a shot at it if its silly enough to give me a good shot in such a situation. Not only that but I feel this is going to be the quickest way to gear up, why spend ages exploring trying to find weapons and supplies when you can kill other survivors and take from your victims? I dont see the point of being `moral` in a video game people who do thats fair enough but dont slander people as `nasty individuals` simply for approaching a game like a game, I save my morals for real life where they belong haha.
