Yeah, the best method for getting into a server is to spam enter in the server select screen (in-game) until you get a slot.
-
It's up to the people who host the servers. The DayZ team don't host, and if they do it's probably a very small amount of servers. America has a population of 300 million, and New Zealand has a population of about 4 million, it just makes sense that more Americans would be hosting servers than New Zealanders. Nothing can really be done about it.

DayZ Maintenance ~ Should be functional again

Well, it's not a DoS, but a DDoS. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure that blocking one IP wouldn't work. Even if he had his internet turned off, that would probably take days from now, and it might not be as easy as you think. Not saying it isn't possible, but who knows. -

Killing in the debug forest is against the rules, don't kill anyone else. -
Good job copying the Wikipedia page to describe the MRE's

I thought it would be cool if a few AI-controlled APCs, tanks or a row of army trucks would roll through Chernarus on a road. Think of it like this: a tank leads a row of three army trucks filled with AI soldiers, following a road to an unknown destination where they would despawn from the game to prevent issues. Imagine, during your hike somewhere, if you saw a tank going down the road leading a convoy of soldiers. You would have to hide from it, or if in a group, you could take the chance to shoot some of the soldiers to get some nice loot at the risk of an angry mob of soldiers and tanks trying to kill you. I'm not asking for AI soldiers like in a regular multiplayer match, but more-so just on-the-move convoys controlled by the AI to make players really shit their pants.

The problem I have is that when I am prone inside a building, or if a zombie is inside a building and I am outside it, I can move while prone for just a second and they will immediately hear me because it generates the same amount of noise as crouchrunning USED to make. (one tick mark)
-
This is my feedback. I think that now that moving while prone creates as much noise as crouch-running in the grass (one ear tick mark), it's pretty much impossible to move at all while a zombie is close. I can understand the visibility being increased to one tick, but having zombies hear you when you are moving while prone is really unfair and should be removed. Previously, moving while prone generated no noise and no visibility marks, making you pretty much invisible, and I support the fact that now the visibility has been increased for people while they are prone. However, it is way too unfair for zombies to be able to hear you when crawling and I hope the noise generated by moving while prone is removed.

So are you going to tell us how they did it or are you going to be a smartellick little cunt and keep the information to yourself?
