I spent seven years fighting for mine. I have absolutely no respect for the things you've said here, and less for the person who said them. -

I never said I deserved respect for being a Marine, it's what I am and likewise, I point out that I'm disabled because I am :/ You can mock that all you want, it shows a lack of character on your part, but I think you're quite fine with that. I don't think you're really having the effect on me with your words that you're trying to. To put it in meme-speak so that I'm sure you'll understand it, "I ain't even mad". Just because I'm currently renting a server doesn't mean I can't go out and enjoy the world, I have a fine life, although I'll note that's not in any way part of what this topic was about. I'm glad you've decided not to respond anymore, because you never offered this thread anything of value in the first place, and if you do respond again, it'll show that your word is essentially valueless, although quite frankly I don't think that demonstration is necessary for anyone reading to be aware of it. You seem quite young for someone who claims to have the life you lead. Not saying you're lieng, just saying that being over a certain age and having more pieces of paper than other people in no way signifies adulthood, much less any degree of maturity. For example, Lil Wayne possesses tremendous wealth, from your perspective, yet at the same time he's considered a complete joke to others. Congratulations on being materialistic, lacking empathy, and being outspoken and brash. While those are not attributes that I admire, I do understand they go very far in business. All of this, accompanied by the fact that you responded immediately after I posted this, makes me wonder quite a lot about you. The thing is, I did notify HFBservers about this post as soon as I made it, and here you are, just a few moments later. What a non-surprise. I don't know why you're here or what your purpose is, it's obvious you're trying to cause me to have some emotional reaction, yet you haven't managed to do that at all. I feel sorry for anyone that lacks the ability to empathize or work constructively with other people. You know, I never came here to accuse HFBservers of astroturfing, I just wanted to post a review. That's a normal thing to do when someone is particularly either pleased or displeased with a service. But twelve minutes after I told HFBServers that I was posting this, and gave them the link so that they could give their side of the story (I can post screenshots of that as well), "some random person who happens to champion HFBservers" shows up to dispute it, and in the most reprehensible of ways; mocking my disability, accusing me of seeking celebrity for being a human bullet sponge. You just coincidentally got here 12 minutes after I told HFB about this post, yet no one else has said anything in the hours since. There's a phrase that goes along the lines of "handing someone a rope so that they can hang themselves", and I think that fits here pretty well. If you're not a troll trying to make HFBservers.com look worse than they already have, you're an extremely close approximation. Have a nice day "bloodbullet". SF -

They treated me poorly. They said they'd found the fix AFTER I requested the refund. It's not like I somehow knew right when to request the refund to spite them, that's stupid. They advertise a server with a customisable loadout. They did not deliver one. It's that simple. I'm an adult and make over $35,000/year on my own. I do great, and $30 is nothing. If you don't value $30, that shows a lack of financial maturity on your part, not mine. I'd rather save money and invest, not waste it on services that don't deliver what they're supposed to. I paid for their "Full Managed Support" (correction, I paid for "Mysql and Bliss Help/Management", regardless, the only thing I needed help with was the database, which is clearly included in my purchase) which they advertise is for the "non-experts", so yes, I am a noob and regardless of whether you're aware of it or not, they do advertise a "noob-friendly" option and they charge almost the equivalent of a second 20 person server for the privelege, so I feel like I paid for what I was expecting, and all I expected was service in under a week. That is not much to ask for. At no point did they explain that what was happening to me was or was not an isolated incident. Indeed, they seemed to be completely unaware of the problem until I could name the exact map it was happening on. Obviously this was not affecting their other customers, or they would have said "Yes, we're aware of this problem and are taking steps to fix it". I'm glad you support them, but please don't sabotage my legitimate review with your fanboyism. It's great that you "already knew they were not for noobs" but they are frequently suggested to people new to DayZ, and you're bordering special for not realizing that ahead of time. After trying to find the best, most stable servers, I was repeatedly told to try HFBservers.com. I paid an extra $15 for their "full managed support", thinking they would easily fix any problems I had. I was completely wrong. Here's my first message to them, asking why I couldn't pick a custom loadout, one of the features they advertise (it starts at the bottom): HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 1.png I had also asked them to increase the amount of vehicle spawns, as they advertise. Sadly, there were no noticable custom vehicle spawns and *no helicopters at all*. That isn't to say they flat out lied, it's just saying that from my perspective there were 36 vehicle spawns to begin with, and 36 vehicle spawns to end with. If you want a server with 300 or 500 vehicles, they will *not* be doing that for you, and they don't have any way to automate that. Based on their advertisements, however, you would think they could, since they tout their ability to add custom spawns. They just don't list how many they'll actually do. Since they didn't fix my problem the first time, I had to message them again, as seen here: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 2.png So it's been three days since I rented the server, they ignored the real problem the first time, hopefully the second times the charm, right? Wrong: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 3.png So, did they do the right thing and refund the money for the non-functioning server they provided? Of course not. Instead they tried to convince me that everything worked perfectly: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 4.png This was their final response, and mine: HFBservers.com Bad Customer Service 5.png Give them money at your own risk. I will never use them as a host again. Maybe, *maybe*, if they did a big announcement saying they'd fired their customer support team and hired a real one. Till then, this host has excellent hardware if you are a do-it-yourselfer. If you don't know databases inside and out, AVOID THIS HOST. A shame too, because I haven't heard of any that come higher recommended, or with better hardware.
