    It would be a big shame if we would not have super-duper high res options and so. (Im not being sarcastic..) People can keep their options at lowest if they desire to, however I also want to be able to run it at the ultimate settings to experience an amazing quality in regards to textures/effects etc.. People here are talking like they never saw nor played any games of Arma series.. There is actually "options" that you can change to optimize the quality of textures and everything else if needed.. If there are people that try to run games on a potato, then thats their problem. No one should pity such people. Its not like a game being made in 2013 should be able to be ran on a PC made in 1990 nor 2000...

    He said "as weapon". If the person would try to equip his rifle to his hand it would take some time but not be like instant or such lol. You could just take down everyone who would attempt to equip his gun after showing a white-flag and come near you.. You would probably have 2-3 seconds.. Should not be that hard though... c.c

    How to stop kill on sight mentality.

    Guys get a long with it. Even Dean has said that it will be insanely hard to go solo and survive in the meanwhile. So not considering the idea of OP, going solo will already be a very hard game-style anyway.. I much liked the idea of banditary to be a harder game-style than a normal style. A person who only kills people around just to survive would not really last long. In reality those people would be the ones who would die first considering the risk they take is just stupidly high to be killed and the chance to be known as a "murderer" is highly likely, which would lead their death though anyway. Those people should imo indeed attract zombie easier and faster as well as they would experience mental issues. A scoreboard telling the surviving-time and bandit kills would be ok, but no kill/death rate or such. Other than that; -Get a headset. -No magical communication ways nor UI. -No map editor (go play arma series) -No magical med or such to be invis to the zeds.. If you want to be invis to them, then just wash ur body with their intestinals and u would be ok for a small matter of time anyway.. (such a feature would be cool imo)

    Regarding the radio in SA

    Its not like there will be only one radio channel possibility or a global voip option. that said no need to worry at all anyway..

    Imo infection must be able to be spread with every hit and there must be no cure for it but some ways to slow it down. "THEN" I'd call this game an "APOCALYPSE".

    Third person idea

    I like the idea of being able to see nothing but the terrain when using 3rd person and trying to look at somewhere where your char would not really be able to look at/see.

    Such a system is being added to the game already anyway. They even mentioned the name "ACRE" as praising that mod that such a system will be added to the game.

    The big difference is that the devs of SA can change the game completely, cus they have access to the game's core. The mod peeps are kinda limited with what the engine can provide to them so far. SA can provide flying pigs, aliens, and everything anyway.. Thats what will make SA better than the mod by time..

    Hopefully this will change with SA. This is a mod guys.. Not "a game". They cannot make anything they desire to this mod.. But in SA, there will be classes and skills.. To be a medic, a repairman and such. I assume that you guys did not watch the latest meeting that the head of DayZ had/made =)) Cheers
  24. A great idea so far! A zed hits and you fly almost about 1 meter and fall down on the ground on ur face/ass.. You should use your hands etc not to get so much damage as a "reflex" which also should sometimes lead you to drop your weapon as well! =))
