Before this hotfix i was having issues with zombies refusing to leave buildings. Was this included in the fix?

Does anyone know the amount of blood the new Viral Zombies have? I know regular Zeds have about 4500 or so. I hit a zombie with an SVD and it took two shots to take it down. I gotta assume its over 7000. I just want to know if anyone has the exact number

If my character was carrying an m107 before the patch and i have not logged on since, will it just be wiped from my inventory or will i be banned/kicked for spawning weapons or something

Id like to be friendly but the amount of times ive been killed made me a little sour. If you see someone with Dagana in their name shout out friendly before trying to come to me. I have done a pretty good job of avoiding people lately but ive made a friend or too here or there. If you really out there to join up or make a temporary buddy id be more than happy to accompany you

Also anyone have any stories that involve the Black Lake and Blunt Rocks area? Im always around there and when it starts to get dark its real creepy.

Not sure if this topic has ever been introduced and if it is someone please direct me to it, but im sure everyone knows of the mountain dew curse (its even discussed on the wiki). I wanted to start a topic where people could share their strange death stories that have come of finding mountain dew and not drinking it right away. Mine occurred a few days after finding some dew. My character decided to randomly dive off a cliff near Blunt Rocks. Then i started glitching through the ground and then i broke my legs and died. Luckily my friend was able to recover my items. Again share a story if you have one or direct me to where they belong.

Early in my days of dayz a friend and I were heading towards the NW airfield when something really weird happened. Im not exactly sure where we were so dont hold me to it but i believe it was near Kabanino. We were approaching one of those long buildings with all of the destroyed beds inside when all of a sudden a huge horde of maybe 50 or so lab coat wearing zombies started running out. They started chasing us right from the start. I dont even know they saw us because we were laying prone pretty far away from them. We started to run away and after we separated i realized that all of the zeds were aggro'd to me. I tried to lose some of them by weaving through some bushes and trees but for some reason they wouldn't stop. I figured if i brought them through the long building i would be able to lose them so i made my way through the building and waited for most of them to get inside. when they began to slow up, i bolted out of the building and kept running until i was far away. I met up with my partner and while we were re-evaluating our approach, he tells me to look behind me. The same horde of lab coat zombies was still following me. I dont know why i was sure i had broken the line of sight long ago. I thought to myself the only way to do this was to kill them all so i ran back into the long building and waited for them to come inside. they surrounded me on both sides. i threw a frag grenade (which deafened me) and shot all the bullets out of my m4 and glock. There were more and more zombies coming and i was lucky enough to find a winchester. All of the doctor zombies were dead and i had killed the remainder of the zombies that were attracted by the gunfire. After this ordeal i i figured i was done for the night so i tried to log off. However upon logging off, I got a sign that said "No Quitting" and was killed. Now i am assuming the zombies as well as the screen was some kind of script, as others have had a similar screen on this forum. A script wouldnt be anything too out of the ordinary, but the 50 lab coat wearing zombies chasing me endlessly has kept me from heading back that way. If you guys ever encounter such a horde, just know you are in for a fight because they wont stop chasing you.

I've killed a Bambi once, but he was a bandit so I figured if he had a gun he would have killed me. Might as well set him back a bit to give me some more time to survive...since then everyone else I've killed has been during a shoot out.

Yea I've had that happen to me too. I was near the northern airfield and a horde of 50+ scientist Zombies appeared near me and chased me endlessly. I ran through a long building to loose them and I was way out of sight but somehow they still knew where i was. After i got them all back into the building I hit them with a frag and most of them died. After my friend and mopped up the rest we were thinking something was up so I tired to quit and that same thing happened

Its not that im sprinting i look down at my feet to make sure. Also im usually running with a rifle. Its really that im just faster than him. We have the same cpu and use the same internet (we are roomates). I also havent macro'd W. He doesnt look laggy when he runs so i dont think its connection. Thanks for the answers though

I'm not a bandit but 100% agree that bandits make the game better. You need them to provide that tension that we all know and love. Even if it sucked, that time when you went sneaking through Cherno only to find yourself faced to face with a bandit who then proceeded to kill you still gave you that feeling of "that was some crazy shit." You know you loved that time when you and your buddy had to clear a building room by room tactical style to make sure you didn't get jumped. Bandits make the game better. What I don't agree with is the idea that EVERY survivor follows the KOS rule. Even heroes do it sometimes. If you wanna shot a bandit on sight that's ok cause chances are do the same but us regular survivors gotta try to trust each other. There are enough guns and ammo in the game to go around and honestly, if two people each other and stick together, they are gonna be better off against those bandits in the future. Plus dont forget about all that missed Brotential and all those stories of how you and your friend survived that huge zombie horde that never happened...

Hey I've been playing for a few months but I've never been able to figure out why I run faster than my buddies. I always play with one other guy and since the beginning my character has always ran faster than his. He just became a hero today and I still can outrun him. Im not complaining about it cause running faster is better when escaping Zeds but I'm still curious. I'm not a hacker or anything like that. It's also possible that he's just extra slow for some reason. If anyone can explain this that would be awesome

It may just have been his settings though. Plus used this weapon to get my first kill. 2. Ak-74 and its variants (kobra ect.) PDW Crossbow in bag with 3-4 bolts Camo clothing Frag grenades Smoke grenade If you wonder why I chose the AK-74, it's because I find it more than any other weapon in the game and I've gotten quite good at using it. It's got decent damage and ammo isn't too hard to find. It's good enough at taking out Zeds if I need to have some kind of Rambo moment and against players it's worked for me numerous times so I trust it. Crossbow helps me in those delicate situations considering the lack of subtlety in my other weapon choices Rest of my layout includes the usual food, bottles ect. Vehicle of choice: ATV all the way

I fell off that huge radio tower thing on top of a mountain that you can see from real far away. I glitched through the guardrail made a nice stain on the ground. My buddy told me that all he saw was my body hit the floor. Lost my ghillie too
