Have you run both Arrowhead and Arma 2 at least once before trying to play DayZ?

Also note that your tent will disappear a week (?) after your death unless you update it by moving stuff in or out, which resets the timer.

I wonder why people never go to Berenzino, it has two stores, it's close to an airfield and there are possible helicrashes nearby. It also seems like the most well made city to me.

Damage is 889 blood, and your max and default blood is 12k. This means 14 hits in the chest to kill (not counting loss of blood or going unconscious, assuming that your enemy is in full health). It indeed is a bit ridiculous.

If you get the game working, I suggest you to go through some of Arma's 2 Boot Camp missions for learning basic controls and how to fly stuff, quickly.

Kopyto spawns a Mi17 and a Huey that are often there, laying freshly spawned. Cars seem much more random to me.
