There were some military ops going on, with the (usually) horribly placed mass graves and body bags. Ops fell apart and the military pulled out most likely. I don't think much was going down that could cause massive structural damage, but I expect there would be some fires that ensued. More destruction to the map might be done later on as "polish."

All much better ideas than removing starting gear. If the whole axe hint thing goes down as a melee weapon, you might be issued a stick and a crying towel in future patches <3 -
I like the idea of hunting cannibals.... Fish sound awesome though, even if I would be paranoid of anything not in a can being infected XDDDDD

Rocket does whatever he feels like he wants tested, get over it and test away! As for the polls on the forums, feedback is awesome for both arguments and possibly augment the next testing solution. -
Yeah human noms should have a visual tell for those who are devoted to cannibalism.(shakes, uber pale skin, random tweaks etc.) And cannibalism fits DayZ so well hahahah.

I see the nighttime game play has changed. I see another rise if flare use, and the speed of looting stepped up instead of sneaking. Also chemlights are a good sneaky light tool for looting buildings (: I've already seen a player set/camp a chem light trap at Balota Airfield. This also puts players in a position to shoot zeds so they can loot and scoot before stalkers creep their flares. -

Yeah you can roll to and from those patches as far as I can tell, until the Arma patch is out of beta, then will probably require 1.7 patches on servers. I've seen a server run a 1.5 patch, but considered it a looting exploit if anything. -
The MP5SD6 can shoot the M9SD mags too, don't pass them up.

Happened to myself as well, but on some servers I can use it. Haven't run into the problem for the last few days though.

Some people don't like playing with others, so what? And going to different servers after about a 2-3 hour raid of the north areas(or whatever), so what??(as long as its not 10 min loot hopping it seems legit) Don't try to press people into a corner, it never ends well. Another point is some servers just don't load right as certain times, the abundance is nice. -
