    random spawn items

    Why do people require a watch in game anyway (its great for immersion and such, but not my priority)? You know the server you are joining and can get the time on the server. Use your real life watch or draw a watch in order to find north. With regards to spawning, it would depend on the back story of how you ended up on the beach, but I would prefer not spawning with anything with wet clothes and slightly reduced temperature and endurance (slight hunger).

    5.56mm weapon nerfing

    Expect weapons to be balanced rather than realistic, especially as more "casual" gamers play DayZ.

    Player decisions: Unlocking new Content

    So have it partially for schematics and such or fully burried for equipment and account the burial on heavy rains. Could also require metal detectors to search for the metal parts and potentially the whole map be searched. Or put the parts or papers to be carried on random zombies, since now not many players check the zombies killed for loot. Can even place it randomly on the infected in the horde.
  6. I guess there will be some added functionality (as put by Chabowski) because Rocket said a while back that if you were not good at something in real life then you would not be good at it in DayZ. This may not be in the foundation release though and in future builds.
  7. I don't think tanks and apc's and fixed wing aircraft will be in the SA.

    Player decisions: Unlocking new Content

    This could work with weapon or vehicle / equipment parts rather than whole objects like a tank being burried. That way assemble the weapon or equipment and use it on that server. The individual parts though will have to be bound to that server.
