Think you may have posted this in the wrong forum section dude, this is as far as I know for SA servers, there is a section for the Mod servers also.

Lets not all resort to calling the OP nasty things or insinuating he is stupid, lets instead point out the many reasons why killcams have no place in DayZ. For me one reason would be the use of KC to give other players (squad mates) the position of my killer.

I await the plethora of "I am sick and shaking because of the rain! turn it off" or similar threads that will follow once it actually affects individual players negatively. Now the weather is synced everyone has to deal with the visual change the rain brings, but the devs do seem like they're also trying to give the Cherno/Electro/AF snipers/campers a few more things to think about as well as more obstacles to overcome if they want to get those murders.

Its just the reverse of how you opted in to it. Select NONE in the betas tab on Dayz steam properties and it should download the stable patch. Restart steam if after you've done that and it doesn't start the roll back download first time.

I had this yesterday about 3-4 times in a row, turned out my network was getting hammered. Kicked them all off and it hasn't happened since.

You have posted this in the DayZ Mod section. If its a SA server you are looking for you may want to request this thread to be moved by a forum moderator, however the rules with hosting on the SA do not allow admin to lock and password servers. Admins as far as I know can not ban players from their servers either only kick (with restrictions).

Shame, I only know european servers. So I couldn't really help in suggesting a US one for you dude, hopefully someone else in the community can.

I was thinking the same thing, but then it occured to me that there are some gullable people out there (I know a few) that would actually delete the folder no questions asked.

*Facepalm* You cannot play Dayz SA in singleplayer. Check your recycle bin and restore your sys32 folder these guys are trolling you. Hopefully its still there somewhere.

I was busy looting the NWAF when a friend took a round to the face from a guy ontop of the Firestation. I ran into the camo building to the North to get into cover and was promptly followed by the guy in the video. He did a lot of talking and I did not respond at first, thinking he was trying to work out my position I held my tongue. Eventually he blew his trumpet so much I couldnt resist the urge and struck up a conversation with him. The video below is of what happened next.

Like Kush said I knew he was under me from the sound of his voice, but I do agree it was a bit of a bugger that I clipped through whilst rolling(100% unintentional). Again though I do think the only reason he changed postion was because he saw me clipping.

It's quite simple, you combat log and your character is left in game so whoever you have cb logged on can kill you or at least attempt to. So make sure you log out in a safe place.

Hello guys and gals, Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that currently once paper has been written on it gives no immediate indication to the player of this, other than when they click read note and see text or a blank space. So my suggestion is for either or both - Inventory icon/Model texture change to something which can now be identified as a piece of paper with a note on it. - A change in name from paper to note(or something else but identifiable) once it has been written on. Some may see this as pretty trivial, and I have to agree. But it is the little things that count. Edit* Being able to stack multiple pages (limited number) so players can write diaries or biographies would be great as well.

They re enabled it in one of the recent patches.

Been through about 50 videos in the last hour or so and sadly couldn't find it, do you remember the name of the thread? Sounds entertaining.*Scratch that. I found it in general chat, I had been searching through gallery. I'd say it is too hard to tell what weapon he is using at that distance, even when he uses the scope you can't see what is being fired only hear it and see the splash. It could be that it's caused by a bug of some sorts but like you said it's definitely fully auto and who knows maybe the guy was exploiting/hacking. When it comes to the attempted CB log though I couldn't help but laugh. It was his first reaction to being shot at, it looked like a well practised response to incoming player fire. It was good to see that the new CB logging prevention is making people think twice though. Thumbs up to Rocket and Co for that and thanks for suggesting the video.

Although I sound quite calm I would blame the adrenaline rush you get during encounters in Dayz for the erratic zooming. Its why we all love to play it, no other game has my heart racing like Dayz Hopefully its been patched/fixed, to be honest I'm suprised there hasn't been anyone else say that and be serious about it. Seems like most people who have commented have been pretty mature and courteous.
