Well i dont know how else to describe with im seeing when im playing. But at some point the screen will be filled with flat lines of color. At times it will only be in one such direction that im facing. Sometime leaving a server and going back in will stop it for a bit. Or leaving to another server might fix it. I dont think it my computer, it can more then handle what im playing. So im not sure if i should post this in the bug reports area or not. I tried taking pics with the print screen button, but not sure if it works. This is a laptop by the way. I did take a pic with my phone. Any help would be great, thanks.

Yeah i know how you feel. I was in the Barracks at the NWAF. Looted an M4 and was headed out. Walking out shot at a zed right outside stepped a lil further to finish him off and then just dead. Heard no shot or nothing. Now there was more then one guy on the server. Around 6 or so. Still the odds very low. So i respawn cuz i died of course. And im in wilderness, so i jump out and back in and drop to the floor with the sand timer, dont know what that means. So yeah back at it.

Ok whats the deal with Green Mountain. Made a trip there today during the day time and didnt find shit. So did i do something wrong....

Alright ill try that out. Cuz it makes the game almost un playable depending on which direction your facing. Thanks for the help.

Same here lost all of that. Had every tool plus a full back up with spare rounds and a AK, plus finally had Night Vision. Im gonna keep jumping servers like you guys are saying and hope it all come back. Now Im not gonna jump servers to get better gear, just hope my shit comes back. Cuz Im at the NWAF and thats not good with no guns. Thanks for the help guys.

I got a ASUS G74SX-BBK9. The specs are: Intel i7-2670QM 2.20GHz 8GB RAM 1TB HDD Nvidia GTX 560M 2GB Video Not sure what my FPS is but I play DayZ on high havent tried in on very high yet. I havent noticed any lag at all, but I may not have the eye for it. Also play Skyrim on high or the highest setting with out lag even when spinning around a bit too. I believe this laptop will last me a rather long time before I replace it. Just a bit heavy with all the travel I do. And man i cant wait to get home and play.

Ill give it a shot. But currently im at work on a boat in the Gulf Of Mexico. So ill join up once i get home whenever that is and how ever long that will be. You guys dont require a certain amount of time that i have to play at all. Cuz its the busy season so i dont know how long ill be home for. And i like the name of the group since im turning 30 in a month or so. Thanks.

Went to a friends house for dinner, he showed me the site and told me about the aspects of the game and what not. But then ended up going to work for three weeks while he played. So read the forum and gathered info, and all the info i could take. Came home downloaded arma and then downloaded Dayz. With the wealth of info on this site i had a good idea how to get around from the start. I dont know how some people cant figure that out, but thats another story. Cant wait to get home and play now...been offshore for two weeks.

So i may of missed it here, but with this app work for the iphone also or no. Any info would be great thanks. Also would the app work on the Blackberry Playbook. Been thinking about getting one if i can get rid of some of my airsoft stuff, since ipads are so expensive. Thanks.

Oh well there you go then. Just go threw steam and get combined operations. Ive read that it runs better like that anyways. Ive heard that buying operation arrowhead and the free version of arma 2 can have problems of some sort. And yes the graphics are crappier... Good luck man.

Just so you know if your doing the gamestop route. Trade your games in if thats what your doing and get a steam gift card. I believe they come in 20 and 50 dollar cards. Right now steam is the cheapest at 30 bucks or so. And thats for Combined Operations, which has Operation arrowhead and Arma 2. So if you can trade enough in all youll have to come up with is 10 bucks or so out of your own pocket. Or the 50 dollar gift card which will leave money left over for something else on steam. Another option for steam is to trade in games and such to gamestop and get a steam gift card for 20 or 50 bucks. That was my plan to save money but ended up just buying it out right on steam. Good luck man. I went into pretty much blind. Cant watch youtube on the boat i work on, so that just left reading this forum and learning as much as i could remember. And some input from my buddy who told me about it the night i was leaving for work. So yeah have fun.

Like the subject says im new. Been reading the forum for a month or so. So from everyone elses story's i know what going on. Started playing right before the update with starting with nothing. At the git go my buddy hooked me up with a MP5SD. So things were easy. Couldn't help but to play with out him and lost it all. So for the last 3 days since the start of spawning like a new born baby Jesus. I've been struggling to get some blood bags and bandages to help my buddy out. And its been tuff, killed twice by what i thought was friendlies but i think since i haven't figured out the push to talk button yet they killed me cuz i wasn't talking back. No big deal, its real life i can get past it. Zeds been taking me down left and right but that's real life with Zombies, so no big deal here. But yes butt i got some blood bags and guns. Logged out and back in sometime later and got my first murder, it sucked but like i said i have goals and ill do whatever i can to help out my friends and family, just like this was real life. So i spawned and the dude was there so i made a painting of his brains on the wall behind him, didnt have anything to great on him so wasnt nothing off my shoulders. My wife would do worse trust me, should see her play xbox. So in the end making my trip towards my buddy to save him. And I wouldnt trade a damn thing for this. This mod is awesome, there might one or two things i would change but as long as you dont quite you will get the loot and everything you want just got to be in the right place right time. Well mission successful. After multiple times of having proper kit and blood bags and failing to reach my friend from Zeds or other players. I have finally reached him today. Logged in to a server, double checked my location and he logged in. Had trouble at first finding him in the dark but after him firing a warning shot i got his location and started to bandage him up. Once he was stable. He then accidently shot me some where on my body. And went from 10551 blood to 7300 with a bone spur. So i bandaged myself and was stable. He then gave me a blood transfusion to get my back all tip top. And that's it i don't really have time to play so we got to a safe location and logged out. So for the next time we play gonna go get some medical supplies and do some more traveling. And once again Awesome game. Made a weeks worth of work totally worth it. Did i do better this time with my typing skills.

Oh yeah and intense this game is. Hell yeah. Once i made it into the hospital to get the blood bags and high tail it out of elektro to safety. My heart was pumpin. No other game has done that. DayZ team keep up the good work and make this mod bigger and better then it already is. Thanks.

Ive ran around or threw a building and then went prone that worked too. But im gonna try the tree huggin bit.

Well this is my second day of the game. Have made it some what far a couple of times before a zed gets me. Twice ive rolled up on a M16 with a 203, one of those times i had the m16 and ak74. so the guns arent rare at all. Yes its a bit harder then it was cuz i started right before the update went threw. But i like it. Gonna keep trying will get there and rearm at some point. Keep playing.
