yes it is if you are on a pubilc server then your caracter gets transfered, but if you play on private hive you wont be able to have your gear on an other server

many just trow it away for the m4s or m16 but it is a much better gun in my opinion. You can hit targets up to 400 m away with semi auto. People dont get that this is day z and not Cod. I love the ak 74 and when the bullet (that is in rl named bone chrusher) hits it hurts bad, realy bad. When i dont have the DMR this is my weapon of choice

I just dont det this. It hapened to me lastnight. I vas on a server with one 1 other player, and south of stary sobor i saw a hely chrash. I decided to scout it out and after aproaching it i heared a dmr going of. i proned because it was pitch dark and if the guy had termal i was dead anyway. So proning i saw a ghillie guy run past me and he didnt saw me. i waited for him to start looting and when he was chrouched i got up and put 3 rounds with my ak in his back. So he fell down but no death massage. I thougt he was knocked out and i started aproaching him when he sudenly aborted. The body literaly dissapered in front of me, just when i was going for the kill shot. So im wondering did they removed that pussy way of saving your player a couple of patches ago or am i wrong :huh:

so this is my problem i bought arma 2 when it came out directly from the official site from bohemia interactive and i did the same for the operation arrow head. now i saw the day z and i became interested in that. All the tutorials on downloading it were from the steam download. So i was wondering how can i download and play the dayz. can annyone explain im a noob when it comes to compiuters :(

i have downloaded the day z latest patch and i have moved it in the folder of the game what do i need to do now to make the game recognize the mod :huh:
