Obviously you aren't a seal clubbing expert. A club like that would damage and pierce the seal's fur, Where as the other club is blunt enough to kill but not maim. DemonGroover is a professional you could learn alot from him.

Which one of these guys am I supposed to be exactly? The guy who gets his way then scurries back to Reddit or the guy who sticks around after the fact. And I'm not just on here to be disrespectful, I'm just responding to everyone else who are saying things like I made an "internet hate rally" and shit like that because they are misinformed or lying, and of course I'm going to respond to stuff like that.

Yeah that had nothing to do with the cans. I wasn't saying that because I disagreed with him about the cans I was saying that because his spelling was terrible and his sentences didn't really make sense. Even if he had disliked the can names I still would've said what I said. But nice job not finding anything that actually has anything to do with me shitting on people for supporting the cans or the part where I say that I hate the cans and everyone who likes them....... Maybe it is you who should just stop.

Really? Do me a favor then and go find and quote all these "Fuck cans and anyone who approves of them" statements then because I'm genuinely interested if you are just making more stuff up or I'm going crazy. Obviously I was FOR the removal of the names on the cans, but never did I say anything along the lines of "hey guy fuck you and your opinion" unless they came off as aggressive first.

This was extremely painful to read. Why don't you type a coherent paragraph and then come back and post again so that maybe someone will actually be able to understand what it is you are saying. Your first sentence describes the rest of your statement perfectly.

Yeah that's right completely avoid the the actual point of that comment because you know you're wrong and try and change the topic. But anyhow if you want to talk about the cans (again) for the hundreth time fine. As I've stated before I like the cans, never said I didn't like them at all. The way they look that is. What I had a problem with was the names. And not even all the names, just the few offenders. But the reason I generalized all the mods on the Reddit post was mostly because others disagreed with all the names too. For some reason , others didn't like the way they looked or thought it was too much. Personally I liked the idea of having several different types of food to look at instead of the same old boring cans of pasta and beans , coke and pepsi, but it's the names of the ones like R4Z0R or Herpy Dooves or mZLY yZLY that are idiotic and were a mistake to put into the game. Hell, I didn't even have a problem with the fact that it was to give the mods a bit of recognition after I found out it wasn't them trying to force their names into the game for popularity, but still things like R4Z0R and mZLY yZLY couldn't be something a little more disreet? And personally I thought the whole Herpy Dooves thing should have been scraped alltogether because while is was a mods name it's still an internet pop culture reference to My Little Pony which many obviously didn't like just for that reason but other than that it was a bad name, and even if canned muffins are a thing , it's still kind of stupid. If it had actually gone the way I hoped, the Dev Team would have just changed the names of the major offenders or all of them in general instead of removing every single one. And I'm hoping in the next patch/update that's what they'll do.

Because the only negative thing I said about the mods is that they were on an ego-trip which I crossed out within minutes after creating that post because I found out the mods had no say. If I really was trying to start a fucking hate rally I would've just left it be. According to you me making a post pointing players who share an opinion to the forums under to state why they disagree with the new update = An "internet hate speech"? If someone has a different opinion they must be no-good hate groups? Yep that's totally it bro, you're a genius alright....... And the comments in the thread I obviously have no control over and people may have said some shit that would be considered "hateful" but I'm not to blame for that. In fact that was entirely them. I never said the the mods were saying it was hard work. I'm saying the people who are defending the mods and the their cans are comparing their work to the Dev Team in terms of difficultly and are speaking for the mods when they say they work hard. Also, whichever mod deleted my other comment, you had no reason to do that I know of. It wasn't vulgar or offensive. And I'd just like an explanation on why you did that.

I made a comment a couple of minutes ago addressing that I know the mods didn't ask for recognition but someone deleted it I guess because it's not there now.

Fixed it sorry, I just wanted to spare some of you the horrors (/sarcasm) of going to Reddit because I know you hate it so much.

There already is a poll, done by another member on here. It wasn't biased because it was on a 3rd party survey site and he asked for everyones opinions on here , 4chan , reddit and other dayz community sites. Provide you with a stable and clean site for you to: 1. Talk about the mod with other players 2. Find out new information about the mod such as patch updates 3. Seek help or information regarding the mod such as troubleshooting and mechanic explanations 4. Organize events with other players Without the forum mods, half of the posts here would be hacking posts with links to steal your CD-key, and the other half would be a mix of gibberish, flaming, or people asking why nobody is taking care of the forums. They do all of this voluntarily. They don't get any form of payment for looking after over 1000 people daily, in fact half of the time they simply get shit thrown at them. So, you shouldn't be asking "Why?", you should be asking yourself "Why not?" Literally anyone could do that. I have alot of respect for the Dev Team because it requires alot of work to code things in the game and work through tedious glitches and errors. But to be a forum mod requires the ability to read and common sense really. They don't have to do anything special. And alot of people would happily take their position in a heartbeat IF they could , but they can't. Don't get me wrong, the moderators on here I still respect as individuals and most of them seem to genuinely care, but their job isn't exactly difficult to the extent where they need their names on every piece of food in the game. We can be thankful for them, but to an extent because really, what other choice do we have but to accept them. Nobody else could do it unless the Forum Admin made them a mod.

Keep going. And yes I did get what I want and I am content and thankful for the change but theres still a bigger issue as mentioned by Rocket which I'd still like to follow.

That's all rhinoCRUNCH seems to know how to actually do. If you noticed he doesn't actually contribute anything to this whole topic other than complaing about the people who disagree. He's making random statements saying that those of us who disagree are jealous and envious of the mods because he has no real arguement. It's funny yet sad how he thinks everything he says is valid because he makes youtube videos and he is catering to the majority for more internet popularity and views on youtube because it's apparent that's all he's got going for him.

Trust me those of us who didn't like the new can names agree with that statement just as much as you do. We understand you didn't choose to have it put in the game but we still don't want to see your likes and hobbies brought into DayZ. Because while I know HerpyDooves is just your username and it could literally be anything, It's still an obvious reference the My Little Pony and the canned muffins are over the top as well and I think your statement goes both ways.

Now that this shitstorm has passed I'd like to just sum up my point in this comment. - I do not blame or hate mods for this and I know they didn't have a say - My opinion is that it ruins immersion and the atmoshpere of a game that was always intended to be more of a realistic zombie apocalypse simulator than anything else. - I really like the actual models themselves, and I NEVER meant to come off as saying I think there should only be Coke/Pepsi and Beans/Pasta. I just don't like the names of them. - I don't even think all the models need a name change I just think there are a few that are huge offenders which in my opinion are noticable to the point where it's obnoxious. - I think a general work over of all the names would be perfect and there is no reason to change the models themselves other than to make them have a more "Eastern" feel Thank you.

So you think it's fine to add more because of that? It's ok to put more things into the game that take away immersion when it should be the other way around? Good thinking!
