Military Checkpoint Event THIS EVENT IS FINISHED Good news guys! An event will be running on the server at 8:00PM (UK TIME) This event involves some Player controlled soldiers protecting a military checkpoint full of vehicles, weapons and gear. It is up to players to raid the base and take these goodies for themselves! The event will be held up in Grozovy Pass to ensure there is no disruption to other players on the server who do not wish to play (There is a TELEPORT DOME which should take you to just outside the event area located in PRIGORODKY) Stand in this area for ONE minute, and you should be kicked from the server, rejoin and you will be just outside the event area Anything goes here, charge in with your friends, or sit from afar with your sniper and check the base out before making your move. No event is currently running (These usually take place Friday or Saturday) Our aim is to give you fun and varied gameplay, that doesn't take an age to do anything, but is still challenging. We are a UK based Private Hive server that is looking for regular players to add to its ranks! Our server is hosted on the following to ensure lag-free gameplay: x2 Intel Xeon E5-2620 Processors @ 2GHZ (12 Physical cores per CPU + HT = 24 Physical Cores, 24 Logical Cores) 48GB ECC RAM 1 Gigabit/Sec Connection Our server is currently looking for more players to add to its already expanding user base. (Around 20 active players) We currently offer many exciting features such as server events and giveaways, as well as random map drops. All of our vehicle spawns are custom made to ensure that there are a wide range of transport methods to journey across the map with. Tired of getting killed looking for your friends at spawn? Or spending hours gearing up JUST to be able to run up north and get some of the high end gear? Good news! You enter our server with a side arm and some non standard supplies. Our server aims to make dying not so much of a chore, so you spend time playing the game, not walking. Our server runs many custom scripts, these were all added to give players more choice with what they want to do, and to add new gameplay features to keep things entertaining. Just some of our current scripts include: No Fog Refuel Vehicles at Tanks and Petrol Stations Always Full Moon (When night time is switched on) More Helicopter Crashes Our Admins are active! If we are not in game ourselves, we will have almost constant monitoring of TSW, and the ability to roll back the server to almost any time! This, along with our anti-cheat software ensures that hackers rarely strike (0 to date) and if they ever do, player experiences will not be ruined by a select few. We also run the latest version of the DayZ mod [1.7.6.1] to ensure you have all the latest gameplay updates, and have automated server restarts every 3 hours to eliminate lag! We have Teamspeak! This makes its easy to communicate with everyone on the server and make new Friends! A website is also in the making for the server (Stay tuned for more updates) (In the meantime, we have a free forum active for players, the web address is give below) We are open to player requests as to what they would like to see implemented/removed. New spawns, and vehicles are always being added and replaced to keep the game interesting and varied, as well as an alternating 24 hour day or real time day/night cycle. (This is changed by an admin at player request, so players who like each given time setting get to play how they want) Our TSW antihack allows us to set up dynamic teleport locations for events, as well as keeping hackers out and keeping players happy! The King of the Hill event is running today! All players wishing to join will need to enquire with the admin via Teamspeak or stated in game chat. The winner will receive ONE free copy of "ARMA III Alpha Lite" via Steam. Event Runs at 7:00PM UK Time! (16/3/13) Please try to be on the server at least ONE hour before start. The event will take place in Chernogorsk and all players who do not wish to take part are reminded to stay away from this area untill the event is complete. All Players must be armed with only an axe. Your goal is to reach the top of the town hall in Cherno and salute for 90 seconds while avoiding zombies and other players. [No teams allowed, the event individual person based] Please try to bring nothing you want to keep with you. You only need your axe! Rules: Admins running the event are not playing. Please do not kill them at this time, they are there to oversee things. No PvP in the event area untill you are told this is allowed by an admin. Do not bring any weapons other than your axe. They are banned for players in the event. No hacking/scripting to be used for player advantage. (Instant Ban) If you break any of these rules during the event, you will be kicked from the server.
