Should my AMD FX6350 be running at 78* Celsius
Death_Dealer replied to willhelm's topic in Technology/Programming
Water cooler sounds a bit overkill, an aftermarket air cooler is more than enough -
sorry but that system is far too weak for DayZ

new pc will this play dayz. HELP
Death_Dealer replied to azzanator9's topic in Technology/Programming
cpu? -
It's their game, they can put whatever restrictions on it they like PvE servers kind of ruin the point of the game. it allows people to explore the map and items without the danger of getting killed by another survivor; in my eyes, that is cheating

What about the fresh spawn killers?

The Community's List of Suggested Weapons for Dayz Standalone (Version: 1.29)
Death_Dealer replied to alexeistukov's topic in Suggestions
It's based on the czech republic. Quite literally, actually. They took an area in the czech republic and modeled chernarus after that, so the places you see in chernarus technically exist in real life (for the most part) -
Suggestion List: Inspired By The Walking Dead Graphic Novel
Death_Dealer replied to King of kong's topic in Suggestions
Almost all of this has been suggested numerous times already Campers/RVs work fine in most off road situations, I don't see why they would suddenly become useless. Arma 2's significant slowing down of vehicles on grass makes no sense at all. As for zombie bites, I don't think the zombies even have any incentive to bite things. They seem to use brute force like hitting and punching to get the job done also, When You Type Like This It's A Little Hard To Read ;) -
If they did add a nuclear power plant and it did go through a meltdown, the radiation would probably cover most of the map, or even the entire map. I also don't think you would find very valuable loot there, considering it's just an abandoned power plant Zombies wouldn't be able to survive around that area either, considering they are like normal humans (minus the infection part)

Is it hard to stream pc games with twitch?
Death_Dealer replied to meat pie's topic in Technology/Programming
Streaming can really kill your fps what are your system specs? -
I found it painfully hard to watch

Western Digital and Seagate are arguably the best HDD manufacturers. Seagate is not at all a bad choice for hard drives Don't even bother reading the reviews (most of the time). If you notice, WD drives get just as much shit from people on Newegg as the Seagate drives

Download speedfan and post the temps you're getting (idle) http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

No to both. The map really isn't hard to learn, just explore it more Ignoring the teleport idea for obvious reasons

I think you need to calm down

-=BAKERLAND=- Dayz mod & Epoch
Death_Dealer replied to Baker.'s topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
I've been looking for a new epoch home server, will give this a try  is it decently-well populated often? -
As far as I know, Pu 238 is used as an energy/fuel source, namely on things like space probes Even the atomic bombs dropped on Nagasaki/Hiroshima in WW2 used Pu 239

you will be able to technically run it, but you'll struggle a lot even on low settings. Post here (http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154395-can-i-run-dayz-retail-post-here/) in the future :)

If that was the case, then pretty much the entire map would be obliterated and drenched with lethal radiation levels
-
Significantly faster load times, textures load faster, generally smoother gameplay (for me, at least)

The god rays are just slightly exaggerated

They would still bleed out or fall over quickly like normal humans would. Much less than 30 rounds (of what?) would certainly put them down quickly imo the devs should focus most on being able to put loads of zombies in the world without the crazy FPS/server lag. Hordes would be much scarier than a couple strong zombies. I'd like to see them roam in small or large packs around the wilderness, so when base building comes along you aren't entirely safe

Have you considered Windows 8? All you need to do is get Classic Shell or some similar program to restore the start button and boom, just like Windows 7. Except Windows 8 is faster and smoother, even when playing games
