Rainbow it's obvious you have pretty much no idea what you're doing. Just please listen to us. The 4GB version will be a total waste of money. Also you're probably not going to get that amazing FPS you keep dreaming about, it simply doesn't work like that on DayZ. You may get good FPS, you may get shit FPS, there's just no telling.

The 2GB extra of vram WILL NOT improve your FPS in any way shape or form. It is a complete waste of money. For the keyboard I'd recommend the Microsoft Sidewinder X4. Cheap, clean looking, good for gaming and includes 6 macro keys and 3 different sets of macros. The mouse is a much more personal choice so you'll have to do some searching around and find the perfect one for you.

Gigabyte Windforce 770 owner here, really great card. The triple fan system keeps my GPU nice and cool. Plus it's got a pretty good factory overclock straight out of the box. As stated above go with the 2GB version. 4GB versions are for things like gameplay on multiple monitors/very high resolutions.

Ah. What mouse do you have? oops missed it, sorry. You may want to go with a larger one, like creature suggested. Though if you have a laptop then that would make it incredibly awkward.

Any mouse pad works fine really, but yes that would be a good purchase for what you're wanting.

212 Evo here, processor clocked at 4.3GHz and stays 50-60C under load, 20-30C idle. Plus I live in Georgia where it's hot and humid.

For gaming, yes it's overkill Arma 2/DayZ with an SSD is absolutely amazing, from my personal experience. Never switching back to an HDD

4770k and 16gb of ram is overkill for gaming. Also, hard drives die too after a couple of years lol. SSDs are definitely worth the money.

Current card is fine for gaming, go for a new monitor. Your current one is severely outdated and it won't make use of the modern graphics card. A huge part of the gaming experience comes from a good monitor

I'd have to agree with lok Your best times in DayZ will come when you are completely new to the map. I'd just stay away from maps (in game and external) for a bit and explore all the foreign parts on your own, you won't regret it ;)

Deleting it (hard to do actually, windows sets up a bunch of barriers to prevent you from doing so) will completely f*ck up your operating system

Could also work for checking if gas mask filters work or not. if you can smell things when wearing the mask, then the filter is expired Most or all filters will probably have expired though
