Need laptop that can run dayz sa on max everything.

30 or below FPS is unplayable/frustrating in my eyes. The problem with laptops is you can't customize them, so you end up spending a lot more money for things like 8 extra (and useless) GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, etc. $3000 for a laptop is absolutely ridiculous and, unless you REALLY need a laptop, a complete waste of money. -
Is this a good hardcore Gaming pc?

That's extreme overkill, even for SLI 660s -
DayZ computer specs upgrade, need help.

Well the motherboard he listed is in the AM3+ socket, so an 8350 would be a reasonable upgrade -

Well if you go with an Intel processor then you'll also have to get a new motherboard -

If you just do gaming, an i7 will be a waste of money. If you also plan to do things (frequently) that benefit from hyperthreading, like rendering/editing videos, then an i7 will be worth the money Some really poor advice there too... "take all yer moneys and buy a random i7 CPU, DONE." -
3570k is fine and will be fine for a while. Performance getting worse? Overclock.

They're bringing the start button/menu back but it also looks like they're trying to incorporate metro into it as well

http://www.battleye.com/support.html It's unlikely you'll get any solution other than to purchase a new copy of Arma 2. As land walrus said it will have to be done on a new steam account otherwise you'll still be banned from Battleye. no more hacking plz thx

Yes and no. It doesn't harm your drives, but they are twice as likely to fail because you're essentially putting two different drives in one. If one dies, you lose all data across both drives. The very small performance boost isn't worth the risk, it'd be much better to stick to a single SSD.

If you have two drives in raid 0, and one of the drives fails, you lose all data on both drives.

Almost every power supply with a fair amount of reviews will have the same thing - people complaining about it dying fairly quickly. I'd be more likely to write a review for a product if something went horribly wrong than if there were no problems. And you also have to keep in mind that some of those people may have screwed their PSU up themselves. Easier to blame the component rather than yourself.
-
I'd open up the power outlet cover and take a look inside, see if the wiring and what not looks dodgy. You're safe as long as you don't touch anything in there. Running games that your system can't handle won't cause the PSU to spontaneously splode. And I'm pretty sure wookie's PC is capable of running The Forest considering she's using a 750w PSU.

Anti-static wrist straps are only about $5, and a computer building kit would be a waste of money. All you really need is a screwdriver. Really you don't even need an anti-static wrist strap, just touch the metal part of your case every few minutes to discharge and avoid touching sensitive stuff.

The interiors of alienware PCs look awful. Cheap parts galore. Most of the mATX form factor builds I've seen actually have better cable management. Also, what are you talking about not being able to upgrade the GPU? Few people, especially first time builders, choose cases smaller than the ATX form factor; all ATX cases have enough slots for at least 2 GPUs in Xfire/SLI. And if the GPU is too long, virtually all cases allow you to remove hard drive bays for more clearance, and additionally better airflow. Oh yeah, that's another thing - being able to choose your own case based on your tastes, something alienware again doesn't offer.

The 760 really isn't a bad card. Sure it will struggle on ultra on certain titles but that's ultra. Playing on medium-high really isn't that bad, not much noticeable difference -

They also usually come with shoddy and bare minimum components such as the memory and PSU -

Definitely worth the 4,500th post. I don't see a row of Ferraris in the back, obviously faked.
