Clothing That Has Purpose/Utility

It has already been confirmed that clothing will serve many purposes. Watch some of the older dev blogs. -
It is not mentioned how long the outbreak has occurred. For all we know, it could have just happened recently.

Try to get a better mic and mess with the in-game sound a bit. I can hear background noise more than the actual in-game noise. The audio seems a bit distorted at times, too. (constructive criticism by the way, not trying to be rude)

We don't need .50s to take out helicopters. Solution: Grab any sniper rifle, aim for the pilot's seat, kill the pilot. Profit. Don't like it? Practice shooting some more. -

No it is not hacked or glitched. The name of vehicles usually changes depending on how far you are away from them. Sometimes, like in your case, it will just say "car". edit: :ph34r:

I would like to see more shotguns in homes around Chernarus. Specifically hunting/sporting ones. They pack a hell of a punch at the expense of accuracy and range, depending on if you use bird shot or buck shot.

Pretty sure that there won't be any instant clothing changes for heroes/bandits in the standalone. Eg. bandits would be identified by the blood stains on their clothes (hinting murder) rather than a rag on their head. -

Been suggested numerous times before but a great idea nonetheless. I think some tanks should be empty while the rest have just a little fuel in them. This would make fuel a very valuable resource, which it should be.

The KSVK (Russian anti-material sniper rifle) would be a fitting replacement to the M107 and AS50 IMO. Honestly, I have no idea how much the KSVK actually weighs, nor can I find any facts about it anywhere. I'm sure Gews knows though.

Pants will be creamed if we get vehicle physics like this in the SA. I highly doubt we will though. :( Perhaps later in the future. -
The problem with the 50 cals is not the damage, but how insanely unrealistic it is to be carrying around a 30+ pound anti-material sniper rifle killing other survivors. These guns have no place in DayZ.

Uh... source please? Anyway, I'm more for taking over pre-existing builds such as small cottages in the forest. This also calls for sleeping bags and the ability to use fireplaces (has been covered in a separate thread). -

This has been confirmed methinks. About the fishing rods, it'd be neat if we could craft them. Fishing nets would work too. I'd love to chill out on the docks of Kemenka and fish for a meal. :) I'm pretty sure rivers and creeks will be added to the SA as well. -
