3rd person is chosen over 1st person so often because of how glitchy and clunky 1st person is in ArmA 2. With the new skeleton and mechanics in the SA, I'm sure more players will begin to enjoy what 1st person has to offer; minus the clunkiness. -

Problem is, if cars aren't in the SA, people will complain. If they are added in the SA, they'll have to be ported in from ArmA 2; which will give us the clunky pieces of crap we currently drive. People will still complain. There's really no win/win situation for that. In the end new vehicles and mechanics will be made but that is going to take some time. -

IMO the patch is pretty good. Though the knockdown possibility should be decreased a little. I feel it happens way too often. But the good thing is zombies are now actually a threat, as they should be. ...he's saying the standalone isn't out yet, so there would be absolutely no point in making players want to flock to it. -

Okay this is where I strongly disagree. Some people, you included, think that making the standalone is just some walk in the park and that it shouldn't take more than 7, 8, 9 or however many months. You have the realize the entire game and map is being redone, and they don't have a very large dev team. Developing a game takes time. Especially when they don't have a large number of people working on it. -

Because they looked horribad in the current build footage. Their appearance is fine, it's just the mechanics. -
They were confirmed on one of the E3 standalone clips. The one where Matt was playing & talking methinks.

Are there any pictures of said infected camps? New rig is still being shipped so can't play for a good couple days.
