  1. A little late to the party but, did they nerf zombies because of people complaining? ffs I never even got to try the original 1.7.7 out.
  2. The main focus on the SA so far is preventing cheating/hacking. As for the mod, there isn't much to do to prevent hacking. ArmA 2 is a game designed to be script friendly, so it's fair that a lot of hacks are going to come from it.
  3. A motorcycle helmet is beyond inconvenient, but cool nonetheless. Gas mask and a Soviet-labeled trapper hat would have been more badass. ;)

    Delightful... It would be really creepy to stumble upon these sounds at night... Definitely would help "enhance" the experience.

    Loot will be spawned globally in the SA, so if there were rare thermal weapons, only a small handful people would have them.
  7. This goes hand in hand with the idea of prisoners, handcuffs, and all that kinky stuff. Capture someone and drain them of their blood to save a buddy.

    Here's my specs, wtf.

    ArmA 2 isn't optimized for today's technology, so you could have a beast of a machine but only pull a low amount of frames. Also apparently the new patch has been causing some FPS lag issues.

    They're "infected", not "undead". Therefor it is impossible for one to rise from the grave in DayZ. This idea has also been discussed to death, use the search function.

    Do you have some sort of source to back up that particular claim? If not, don't make assumptions so quickly. I think you will be disappointed when the SA comes out.

    If you want stuff like that, go on over to Wasteland. Also I hate to break it to you but it's already been confirmed that weapons will be much more civilian based in the SA.

    Please provide a source to Rocket saying that there would be a lot of Western styled rifles in DayZ. As for my post about what Matt said, here's the source - Seeing people running around with Desert Eagles is very unrealistic. They aren't a exactly a common firearm.

    I don't recall Rocket stating there should be guns in Chernarus from all around the world.

    Because razor doesn't come on very often, and when he does he only looks at the threads concerning the latest patch. At least most of the time he does. Pretty sure we'd have way cooler stuff in the mod if razor did check the suggestion threads often.
