Pretty basic suggestion but I like it. It would be nice to grab a few whiskey bottles from town, fill 'em up with water, then tie them up at your camp to use later.

There's no point in trying to communicate or help people nowadays, it just gets you killed 90% of the time. I try to avoid people as best as I can, but if they see me, I'm going to try and kill them as best as I can. -

My rig is essentially the same as that, but 16GB of RAM instead of 8, and I'm using the Ivy Bridge 3570k instead of the Haswell version. General FPS hovers at around 50-60. In cities it drops to about 40-ish. My FPS changes randomly from time to time but nothing laggy. But FPS depends on how good or bad the server is. Edit: on ultra settings, but post-processing set to low because I don't like the blur effect. Anti-aliasing is also turned off as it creates unnecessary lag, and I can't even notice the difference with it on.

Is this is the case then the AS50 and other extremely high-powered rifles will need to have some limitations, like in real life. The M107 for example. You can't just run around with that thing like a trigger happy psycho, which is almost always done in DayZ. The M107 weighs nearly 30 pounds and it kicks like a mule. It should have to be manually carried to the shooting location, set up, bipod mounted, then you can start the killing. Another setback is the incredible booming noise it creates, which would attract everything for miles. -
Beans for making me laugh. --- As for immunity, all survivors are immune to the virus or whatever caused the infection, otherwise we'd already be infected by now. This isn't directly written or stated anywhere, but anyone with a brain stem can confirm it through inferencing skills. This means, as some others have stated, that there is pretty much no way to completely "hide" ourselves from the infected's vision, hearing, and smell.

That's just silly. I don't want messages constantly spamming my screen telling me what's going on. There should be no real way to see exactly how many bullets are left in your magazine. You look in, see that there's at least some bullets left, and make due with what you have. If you're unsure, you can manually insert bullets into the mag until it's completely full. -

The GPU upgrade won't really affect your overall performance, but it might help a tiny bit. Your processor speed is fine for DayZ, everything is just horribly optimized. It usually comes down to server quality for frame rate issues. Bad server = bad FPS.

No. This would be too forceful on play styles, as he ^ mentioned. Not all people are the same; some are desensitized to killing/gore/etc, some aren't. You can't force personalities on them. We should be able to play as we please. Like the idea of going crazy after long periods of time, I've spent quite a while just by myself before and didn't turn crazy or delusional. I actually enjoy my own company quite well.

It's frowned upon but not something you can be globally banned for. Most server admins will ban you from their server for taking hacked in items though.

Eurasian wolves and Eurasian brown bears would be a great addition to the wildlife of DayZ. Realistically they are found in places like Chernarus. They could be out scavenging the vast forests or in one of the many buildings in Elektro or Cherno. Definitely would add some needed fright to DayZ.

1. You probably did hack and made up some random excuse for it, or 2. You downloaded a nasty program that stole your key. Non-Battleye servers, if you can even find one, will be riddled with hackers and idiots.

Technically it was expanded. Maybe not the physical map, but I don't count the vast, empty forests up north being part of it. Many new towns & locations have been added in those areas. -
You'll be lucky to even run DayZ. If you somehow manage to, expect very bad performance even on low settings.
