The fact that the game has NO way to ACTUALLY instill fear or risk at the level of losing your actual life, the game will forever be a troll fest, cause in real life people wouldn't just kill you after you save their life, FFS the governor one of the most ruthless mother fuckers ive seen in post apocalyptic media didn't even kill the people who saved him...its just not done. Maybe years down the line but not 5 minutes after saving their life...and when people are trying to GIVE you help and you say LOL FUCK IT LETS KILL HIM...its just no. Honestly its not all on the people its on the game too, its up to the game to GIVE alternatives and other options besides LOL FUCK IT LETS KILL. There needs to be a clear message that "hey more people=easier survival". Alone is doable but you will struggle the longer you are alone. Right now its the complete opposite pretty much.

Oh buddy, I am one of the best people at getting geared fast without getting into hot. First off you need to be aware of a few houses. Best residential house is the piano house. This is the best house because it can spawn, can openers, melee, cloths, guns, ammo, and food/water. The office/school (ITS AN OFFICE) Always a gun at the top unless its been looted The red brick house that has this interior is another gun house. Very useful. In the next update (current experimental) they are also adding clinics and police stations around the map, police stations spawn up to 3 or even 4 main guns some times. Now where you can find the location of all these buildings...well have fun im not going to go into detail at where every single one is at, that would just be helping the enemy (everyone else).

Anyone who thinks a game can mimic reality to a tee is insane, compromises NEED to exist for it to be a suitable experience.

I didn't get it on video but i was at kamyshovo...I shit you not, every spawn i came across just tried killing me there were about 5 in total over the spam or 10 minutes i then approach a gun guy he needed food i gave him some, some time later he kills me while showing a new spawn the well, then insults me....worst fucking server I ever played on.

I saw one video, where a guy successfully took a kids mosin by bluffing then gave it back and he didn't shoot...im like. WHAT? WHAT DAYZ IS HE PLAYING CAUSE HE MUST BE IN AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE.

You know whats funny..when the game enters beta, and there are still really broken things there will still be people just saying. "Bro its still beta, chill out" Then when the game is "released", and big issues still exist. "Bro its a known bug chill out, it will be patches soon". Its a vicious cycle I tell you, people complaining/pointing things out, with another to instantly say why its fine.

Here is what I learned from shotguns, when they are sawed off they tend to be less effective in general. Normal shotgun I seen people one hit KO, from like 20m away, while point blank sawed off can do hardly any damage to body near point blank. ALSO, most people don't know about the T button for guns which switches fire modes, for the shotgun it lets you fire both shots at the same time there is no notification to know which is toggled for now so you just have to remember. With a mixture of some firing both shots, others using sawed off and others using normal, its easy to see how confusion exists on its effectiveness.

I hit post to early you can look at the post again, if you think im crying and read the OP i edited it, its entertaining engaging in controversy. What he said, the people who are thinking HELL YA REALISM...have tunnel vision they don't realize there needs to be compensation for reality, within the first hour of playing they would be like OMG I CAN'T PICK UP LOOT WTF.....then just run around with tab open the whole time, which would defeat the purpose of immersion....causing you to look at your in game inventory more than the game world, akin to what happened to the batman games where you would just stay in detective vision for 90% of the first game, cause it was just more useful.

I engage people with guns all the time, it becomes a mexican stand off we just take pot shots from our respective cover, if you and everyone else would read more clearly you would see I only use the coast to target practice every now and again, you people have no idea how i normally play but you assume my whole play style off of one statement, this is whats wrong with people. Also i shoot rabbits, they are bugged i shoot point blank and they don't die they just keep hopping, you would know this if you shot them too, unless this was changed in February then its the same. Now as i said, hunting people with guns is predictable and 99% of my conflicts were against armed silent robots looking to just kill, usually i just get KOS'd while trying to make contact so with all you people thinking your high and mighty you need to stop, it feels like the dayz community is the most hypocritical bunch of bitches ive ever seen in my life next to society itself. You all preach about being friendly, how KOS is bad...yet when i get in game none of that is reflected, all i see is sniper hill hermits, KOS bandit groups, KOS lone wolves, all in their little VOIPs just plotting to kill the next person they see. So before you people try condemning others how bout some practice of preach OR AT LEAST come to terms with the fact that you friendly fighters ARE the VAST minority. Also, this is dayz, a game where its encouraged that you should be able to play however you want, just cause I don't practice pure friendly or pure bandit play styles doesn't mean im wrong it means I just haven't conformed to the only two demographics people like to assume exists for this game, grow imagination and expand on the two options given to you don't simply sit and defend one over the other. That is ridiculous. P.S whoever said i killed bambis everytime i practiced? Maybe i simply shoot until i hit one, im not 5 meters away popping shots, i let them run 20m+ down the coast then fire to make the most out of range practice, but again assume all you want.

Look at the 2 posts above yours....they are like all others in the mindset that coast campers are out just to be dicks...but some are there to actually improve their aim on low risk targets who have nothing to lose, and like i said ...geared people usually camp, its easy killing bandits, its hard killing the douche bags who take pot shots then run away, so to get better at killing those people practice is needed in order to shoot people at a full sprint or normal sprint. All the people who insta flame the method, you appear as naive and self righteous ignoramuses. Honestly the sooner people stop trying to make dayz a team death match (bandit v hero) the sooner jimmies stop getting ruffled.
