It is only a great community cause there are people opposing the trigger happy FPS gamers. If there were no carebears it would suck, if there was only FPS...it would suck. Unfortunately this game has more trigger happy FPS players than roleplayers...and that is why i think it is apprpriate to compare it to real life; which has bad as the majority and good as the minority...i guess it just goes to show how people are.

Uh you contradict yourself when you say that the point is to kill everyone NOT in your GROUP...how the fuck you gana have a group if all you do is kill on sight...the point is ya this should be a FFA but not a CoD game where the only objective is to kill people and ONLY kill people...which right now it is. So ya. TBH WarZ is looking like a good alternative to this CoD heavy mod now where its only about killing and nothing else. WarZ will have a user generated objective system. Something i would love, because i think there should be at least some structure especially when dealing with random people on the internet. Maybe not structure persay but some list of optional activities. Like restoring power to the city or restoring the radio tower on green mt. so as to be able to broadcast stuff idk. Just random shit to actually DO other than just run around aimlessly wasting 3 hours just walking only to get sniped by a camping CoD bitch. People who PVP don't have perspective worth shit. They are the examples of braindead gamers who only like to shoot stuff that the media portrays...seems the media proves true on that subject. Since most people just want to run around for hours hoping to see someone to shoot...trigger happy people are equivalent to the middle class of america while the people who don't shoot ON SIGHT without question are more like the 1%. Now i don't hold shoot on sight people in bad favor. After all there is NOTHING...ELSE...TO DO in dayz except fuck with other people....fucking with zombies is boring, they are just a pain in the ass not scary, not hard, just annoying. I firmly belive if they give some optional objectives to do for fun that provide either satisfaction or reward i think the games PVP would balance to an appropriate level where we have killing but instead of seeing a person and thinking DEADLY ROBOT we think "hmmm wonder if I should kill him or talk to him" since the mindset would hopefully become whether or not everyone is just another FPS NPC or if they actually can communicate and talk or be toyed with liked a human being.

I also thought a better more indepth medical system would benefit the stand alone game. I would agree with you if they didn't add items like tents and cargo vehicles and also the idea of underground shelters....that implies they want people to give a fuck and try to survive instead of just fuck around...but the way the game is now, im not surprised that is all people do there are still too many things broken about it to even add new game improving features.

I can't stand playing this game alone after playing since launch it is just too boring since it is just a deathmatch on a HUGE ASS MAP...usually with only 30 people (can't get into full games)....it is boring to just run and loot repetatively and then finally find someone...just to end up getting killed by them....instead of trying to communicate...it gets old isntantly....so ya. P.S speell checkk does nott work at all for some reason even though its checked...any thoughts?

IMO it is way better for these reasons -BUILDINGS EVERYWHERE, ALL ENTERABLE -3x's the amount of military loot so you actually have options -Less servers, means less horded vehicles -Less people/server=less stress on hive (things actually save FPS is amazing) -It is totally different scenary, it feels like your in the first jurrassic park movie. -New buildings (the only familier ones are market and office/school and some others but mostly all new. -There is no "north" as in to say unlike cherno where "north is safe and away from danger...there is no "safe" or "dangerous" since you spawn on the coast of any of the 4-5 islands...there are still "high traffic areas" like the very southern military base (you can also spawn there) but over all it is balanced (oh and the prison is kind of similar to the NWA but that is only cause it is the only real unique structure. EDIT -You can fill up a car or vehicle by just standing near the gas station -you can mount a military flash light on your shoulder instead of having to have it in your weapon slot.

And more helicopters...one per server...come on 3 per server was just fine. Since we have to fix cars anyway....i don't see why there are so many blown up cars instead of just broken ones..the amount of burnt out cars is just silly...compared to a simple broken or aged car that is still drivable if repaired. Also less loot would be more appropriate. The issue in zombie apocalypses is that there is no gas...but there are plenty of cars that are broken down.

For example admins that exploit to save their camp or gear or ban someone who finds their camp....i mean if you think about it a lot of people are paying 50 bucks or so a month just to keep a server up...to call it their server...and then we have some random douchebag who just wants to fuck up a camp...or some random player who just stumbles upon it and find all their stuff. They then get banned for finding it or taking stuff or idk something (killing an admin...meh kicking from getting killed is pathetic) Just saying their are plenty of servers....so what you get banned or kicked from out ...there are thousands....they just want to enjoy what they payed for (a server they can call home or base or w/e) I mean they pay for it you don't sooo i get where theyre coming from. P.S No...im not an admin just saying.

So what would you call all facebook games and free to play MMO's or just free to play games in general...to say money shouldn't allow some advantage is just idiotic in this day and age...just saying they pay so you can play...and spend time on maintenance....and they should be viewed as equal...just saying...i know damn well the majority of people would feel entitled to some kind of advantage...or privilege, ya they can customize the setting (crosshairs, etc) but i heard that admins are actually pretty restricted settings wise...just saying...in every other game ive ever played admins have always used their power to kick,ban,or exploit, whenever they could...or just customize the server settings to what they want...but since customization sounds like its pretty limited for dayz servers...i kind of get why they find other ways to take advantage of being an admin (kicking, and viewing locations of vehicles and tents on logs [some one said the logs show vehicle spawns and saves not sure if thats true but if it is....that would explain why i never see any]

That is the world as we know it...fiat currency is power so ya....but there really isn't an option to do that...but if there was a way to outbid someones server and control of it...ya it would be a valid option to just spend more money....just sayin.

Also 50....fucking....dollars...for a DAYZ server non the less....a month...thats crazy if i DECIDED to spent that amount of cash....i would be an uptight anal admin as well....also the good admins our probably either running their own server on their own machine, not the person who pays for the server...or they are splitting the cost for the server...just sayin.
